Je suis très contente de ce cadenas que j'ai installé sur un casier de gymnase.Sur mon ancien cadenas à 3 chiffres, avec un peu de patience il était possible de trouver le code de sécurité. Ici, les combinaisons sont très nombreuses (100.000) et le fait que ce soit des lettres permet une bonne mémorisation du code (j'ai mis les initiales de membres de ma famille).Il est possible de faire quelques combinaisons assez marrantes et faciles à mémoriser.Les lettres sont simples à tourner et le réglage est facile aussi.La solidité semble correcte, sans être exceptionnelle mais l'ensemble est tout de même assez lourd, ce qui doit témoigner de sa qualité.En résumé, je suis satisfaite !

I have had combination locks, key padlocks where I wear the key around my neck and number locks. The word lock, by far, has been the most accessible lock to manage. Looking at the pictures, the right-hand side opens when looking at the front of the lock display. At first, I thought this was inconvenient since many people are right-handed. No offense to my lefty friends! Anyway, you have to put the lock in the locker from right to left to see the front lock display. I turned the lock backward and put it in from left to right! It becomes a little more difficult for someone to try and guess your combination word. Plus, the letters are already garbled, so all you need to do is move one of the letters and a couple of clicks one way or another before going about your workout. I love this lock! Of course, if someone really wants to get into your locker, they only need some strong loppers. But for just reasonably securing your stuff, I like not having to bring something to unlock my locker later or trying to remember a number combination!

I used this in my classroom escape room. The final clue led them to a lock box where they had to put a message together (the combination) to the clues they got from various escape room activities.

Setting the combination is pretty simple. Sure, there are only a few words available, but you can think in terms of acronyms.During the weather times I need to actually take stuff into the gym I use this lock regularly. It is simple to open, put on the locker, lock the lock, and spin the combination.I like the letters being large enough I can read them clearly without my reading glasses. Some padlocks out there I can't read any of the numbers or letters. This is nice.As most locker room locks, these aren't meant to stop anyone determined to get in. I mean, it's stronger than the clip on the locker it is securing. So this is more than strong enough.
