Plug and play
Excellent. Plug and play for my 2019 Toyota Tundra. Works as described and I now have CarPlay wireless on stock head unit. Like others have said, screen quality isn’t the best but that is because of the stock OEM head unit. No complaints.

Did not work, no response from customer support.
First kit didn’t work in my 2017 Toyota Highlander as it says it should, thought maybe I got a bad kit. No big deal, ordered a replacement. Installed exactly as instructions say, again, and still doesn’t work. Reached out to the company via email about a week ago and never got a response. Horrible product and horrible customer service.

Google Assistant volume issue
This has been a great way to add Android auto to my 2014 Toyota Highlander. Four-star rating is due to the fact I'm working with support on the sound. When playing media, the Google assistant voice is very quiet and I can't make it louder without affecting the music volume. This is causing me to turn the volume up to hear directions and then back down when the music comes on. I've had the unit for about 3 weeks and other than that issue it is working very well.

Quirky and imperfect, but overall does what it says for a decent value.
So, upfront first- this works fairly well within the limits of the factory head unit to add Apple CarPlay capability. Those limits do create a couple quirks though. Install of this box was fairly easy- it took me maybe 20 minutes, and while I’m fairly handy, I’m no automotive technician. The box does take a while to boot up when the car is started- that’s not the end of the world, but worth noting. You’ll want to disable the car’s default Bluetooth most likely, because it generally will connect first and keep your phone from connecting to the CarPlay box. Aside from that, the connection works pretty well both wirelessly and via USB. The user experience is where the bigger quirks come into play. First up- we’ve found that the interface switches to the rear view camera when the car is in park. The rear view camera still works properly in reverse, so no safety hazard- just annoying when you cannot use CarPlay while parked. Secondly, the screen is a little fuzzy- this is partially because the box hijacks the rearview camera feed. This isn’t a huge turnoff for us- everything is still plenty readable. Thirdly, the factory units touchscreen doesn’t appear to support “swiping,” something that CarPlay would normally make significant use of. This is again not the end of the world, the interface can be navigated regardless, but worth noting. Sound quality is fine- nothing special, but perfectly listenable in my subjective opinion. For the money, this was overall about as good as I expected. If the reverse camera being on in park issue was addressed, I think this would go up to four stars. I’ll update if anything further comes up.

Not functional
The unit was great, it was easy to set up but it was not really functional in my 2014 Toyota. When anytime I go to the system, It has the check surrounding for safety message and when I go away, then while I was driving or parked every once in a while the system will go out

It really works!
This unit solved my problem! Have a 2018 Highlander Limited with OE JBL system snd didn’t want to buy a whole new radio and lose the features of the factory unit. Product came with great wiring harnesses for installation. I paid for a professional audio shop to put it in, mostly because I didn’t want to accidentally break any plastic parts of my dashboard taking it apart. Now I have Apple CarPlay for long road trips. Waze, Spotify, etc works great.

Outdated equipment
Only device can be connected it will not let multiple devices to be connected we share the vehicle between me and my wife and apparently if I connect to my phone my wife’s phone will not connect even when I am not present in the car

Good support
The unit itself can be finicky but the tech support staff are quick to respond. Happy to retain the factory appearance and at a decent price. Also glad that it allows you to search destinations in google maps while driving not just when stopped
