I like the concept and its pretty well made for the most part. Just doesn't fit on the grips of my 2013 HD Street Glide. A couple issues that I have with this is that the break lever needs to be pulled back almost all the way to the grip and that puts a ton of pressure on the brake line. I can't imagine keeping a lock like this on for a long period of time. The second issue is that it really digs in to rubber grips and will tear them up from multiple uses. And no, I didn't use the rubber inserts because it wouldn't have fit my grips at all. Overall, I can't recommend this product for any serious application. It might work on dirt bikes or scooters, but since I don't run one, I'll never know.

Ok so this little handlebar brake lock is not going to stop someone that realllllly wants to steal your two wheeled motorized freedom machine. That being said…..it may be enough to make someone look for an easier target, it may deter beginner thieves, it may slow a thief down so they have time to think about what they’re doing and change their mind. All of those reasons paired with the price of this lock and I feel that it is completely worth it. It’s well built and the locking mechanism is smooth. I put this on a ‘24 Grom. I’m pleased with it at this point (the lock, not the Grom, love the Grom, soooooo much fun, the Grom, not the lock, the lock is boring, but I still recommend it, both of them actually). If anything changes I’ll update but for now I’m happy
