Q: How big is the tape measure?

I'm not sure what the question is because big is relative, so I am going to answer how big I think it is..... the case is round and the diameter is about the width from the tip of my little finger to the tip of my thumb, all spread out... probably 7 inches. I have to hold it like a discus when I am carrying it. So it is big. the length of the very light figerglass tape is marked 60 inches with a few inches ot the hub that is unmarked. So it is big. The width of the fiberglass tape is about a half inch; not very big. Great tape for big jobs (unless it is windy and you are measuring cross wind..... blows and bows like the devil. So big is not always better.
