Just what I needed. It holds the weight of my Galaxy Note with a level of adjustable flexibility that allows for the perfect balance of convenient accessibility while also being out of the way. Keeps its position through whatever road bumps I've hit so far. To compare: I've never tried a windshield mounted version, figuring I didn't want anything obscuring on the glass; I have tried the CD-slot mounted magnetic option, but found both the CD-slot mounting and the magnet to be susceptible to bumps and vibrations.

The most important function for this item is the 'rubber thing' on the cigarette adapter, which turned out producing really good grip in the cigarette 12V outlet.(I had a similar item a long time ago, it didn't hold my cell phone weight and loose from the outlet easily.)

complement:it fits my phone so long as i dont have the case on it. super easy to adjust to fit my phone. the charger cord is short but but long enough to plug in while it is in the holder. the two extra usb ports work great especially for my fiance since he sometimes uses the phone mount to hold his phone but his charge isnt compatible to mine.complaint:it doesn't like to stay in the cigarette outlet and sometimes pops out when turning corners. and when my phone is sitting in the holder part, the neck seems too be loose.

The basic design of this phone cradle is fine. However, the flexible tube where it connects to the base began to wiggle within a few days. After a month, the connection had about a 15 degree movement, forward and back. While trying to adjust the neck to counter the twist, the ball connector snapped off. I do not recommend this. Sorry.

Brilliant concept - works great with my iPhone 7 Plus. I tested several different types of gooseneck lighter plug phone holders, including another Auoplus model with clips on the sides, but this was the best. Very easy to insert and remove the phone without having to readjust. We have one in each car and I've ordered several as gifts.

Update 10/12/2020:I use this everyday and have taken it with me on a few trips and used it with several rentals.It still works as well as the day I received it. I've been using this in my car for the past couple of months. I do deliveries and am constantly typing in delivery details. I could not be happier.

This phone holder worked perfectly during my round trip from San Francisco to Portland and back, about 1,200+ miles total. The attached charging cable will cover most phones so you won't have to carry another cable around. And the 2 USB outlets will handle all other phones that use different connector types, but obviously you will have to carry a separate cable for that.

Good phone mount/charger, keeps my phone with in reach and visible. It has a screw to tighten the neck so the phone doesn't wobble around. The actual holder holds my phone whether it's in its case or not, very adjustable. It's alittle tricky getting your phone out bc the phone sits on top of size adjuster but I just pop it out & that works :)
