Jim Dandy Quick Grits, 5 lb Bag Bundled with a JFS Recipe Card (Pack of 1)

I like grits; that being said, some of the water ratios need to be adjusted. It is dry here, so I added 1-2 tablespoons of water.Otherwise, I can not believe my luck in finding these grits; they are all one could wish for: creamy and tasty, and you can pop them in the microwave for 4 minutes, and they are set to go! Actually, they are too hot and cool down enough to eat while you finish up the bacon and eggs. A delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

I grew up in GA and SC in the 70’s and 80’s and this was the gold standard for all things grits related. Now I live in CA and can’t find Jim Dandy anywhere, so Amazon to the rescue! I’ve raised my Yankee wife (Bless her heart) and my kids on Southern favorites such as Jim Dandy grits. They have the perfect texture: not too “gritty” and not slimy like you find in non-Southern brands.

Was exactly what it stated

I ordered this on March 23 . It was not shipped until 2 April . It was scheduled to arrive 4 April . It's been delayed until 8 April . Terrible time limit & a substantial price at $20 for grits.

When they are cooked right they are delicious😋 not grainyI like washing my grits just like rice 🍚 to remove all the excess starch which helps make it taste creamier👌🏼 I have had Quaker Oaks but this is my preferred grits of all times😃😍👍🏼Enjoy 😋🫵🏼
