Strong Loops
Very good as long as you keep an eye on them from time to time, very good for a few years, and are cheap enough to be renewed from time to time for safety.

Just what I needed
I have a Canon G1X and don't like the neck strap. I tend not to use it except to wrap around my hand when shooting. I have a Black Rapid for my DSLR and recenlt added their new wrist strap (great thing) I wanted to find a way to use that strap and also be able to use the Black Rapid. These connectors enable that and it works well. Quick delivery.

Just what i needed for my Rapid Strap
I hunted for something like this for months and came across this purely by accident and im so glad i did. I have a black rapid womens strap that fixed onto the base of my camera using the tripod mount. its a great strap which i also purchased on amazon and very comfy but when i needed to recently use my tripod to take some pics i had to unscrew the rapid connector and then attach my camera to the tripod without a strap which left me feeling a bit vulnerable, apart from also being a bit of a palaver. Then had to re-attach the connector to attach the strap to my camera when finished with the tripod. It was either get a new strap or put up with the faff and i decided to hunt for an alternative. This is when i found this connector, its really great and cheap. this means i can attach the utility loop to the metal neck strap loops on the top of the camera and then attach my rapid camera strap and away we go. The camera still hangs comfortably to my side and this also leaves the tripod mount free when needed. Fantastic and just what i needed. ive also bought another of these for a friend who was having the same problem. FAB

Good Product
Bought these to use with Black rapid wrist strap (a tip form another reviewer). Works really well - just loop onto camera eyelet. Seem well made and does the job fine. Much cheaper than the back rapid threaded eyelet.

Excellent Loop Connectors
These are for fastening a binocular harness to the binoculars. They are perfect for the job. They are sturdy and strongly made.

Works great with black rapid strap if you dont want to ...
Should be a standard part of a camera package. Works great with black rapid strap if you dont want to screw it into the bottome of the camera e.g when on a tripod.

Once I got these on the camera, they lie perfectly flat. They are very sturdy. My fears for the old strap were that it would fray and break. No fears with these straps. So I did have some trouble getting these on the camera. First, you have to get the loop to go through the camera's slot. Easier on one side than the other, but essentially, just fold the loop and push and push and push. OK, on the second side, I used dental floss to help it along. Monofilament line would work too. At the end, I just yanked as hard as I could. The strap came through. After the strap is through the slot, the next challenge is to get it to lie flat. Since I pulled it through as a folded strap, one side is flipped from where it needs to be. To get the leverage I needed, I mounted the camera on a tripod and used pliers on the strap. Tough going, but the result is totally worth it. There are two ways to thread the strap through the camera slots. Bottom-up and Top-down. I chose top down so that the final result would be flat against the camera body. In this case, top-down means that when the strap is approaching the camera (before going through the slot) it is above the camera. The loop is pulled through the slot from top to bottom. Then, the rubber part of the strap is run through the loop (which is now below the slot) and everything is cinched up. As a final note, this is almost the most perfect way of attaching a strap to the camera. This works with my BlackRapid strap, but it also works with my Op/Tech straps. When no strap is desired, the short little adapters stay mostly out of the way.

Buen producto, como todos los de Op/Tech que permiten múltiples combinaciones. Me permite enganchar y quitar rápidamente la correa con un pequeño mosquetón.
