Napoleon company recognised worldwide quality. The company history begins in 1976 with the company owner Wolfgang Schroeter. This year he founded a small steel processing company in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where he began producing steel railings. At that time, nobody could ever succeed in the incredible success of Wolf Steel Ltd. and the subsequent Napoleon fireplaces and Napoleon Gourmet barbecue models are forecasted. Since the first wood burning stove rolled off the band 30 years ago, Wolf Steel has intensively devoted itself to producing outstanding and successful products. The original stove model was 2-door, made from solid cast iron and was manufactured on 93 m² manufacturing surface. In 1981, the name "Napoleon" was born. The first oven model with a single glass door made from heat-resistant Pycroceramic glass ceramic was also produced under this name - then a novelty in this industry.
