We bought this for our son, who is a big Monster Truck fan and specifically wanted a Rhinomite Monster Truck. We couldn’t find just the car at a decent price, so we went for this set. The truck itself is great, and my son plays with it a lot. However, the extra 'track' pieces don’t get much use—this seems to be a common issue with Monster Truck sets. Standard Hot Wheels tracks are used more, but it’s a shame there aren’t more versatile sets that work well with both regular cars and Monster Trucks, and that take up less space. There are third-party solutions to make Hot Wheels tracks compatible with Monster Trucks, but they’re overpriced. A company as big as Mattel should offer better track-building elements to meet this demand. But still would recommend it for a gift.
