These were my first ever set of alcohol markers. I have recently picked up coloring with alcohol markers and wanted to start with a less expensive brand just to learn and get a feel for them. Even now that I've "upgraded" I still find myself reaching for these. The markers are a good quality, they came with no issues or defects in the nibs and no leaks. I bought the 80 pack, and while there was plenty of variety next time i will buy the larger pack.I have used them almost daily for two months and only have one or two markers (of my most frequently used) starting to show signs of drying out. These markers layer and blend really well. I've noticed some markers can 'pull the ink' when trying to layer, that is NOT a problem with these! They are nice and juicy without being so wet that they immediately start bleeding/running on the paper. They do have the ink spreading that's expected with all alcohol markers and as always when using alcohol markers they bleed through so you need to make sure you keep a piece of paper/cardboard under your page to prevent bleeding through. These are a great option for someone starting out or on a tighter budget. I feel like you get a lot of value for your money with these markers. You get a nice variety of colors and hours worth of fun for an extremely low price, cannot recommend these enough!

Am getting into adult coloring and was looking for an affordable set of markers. This set of M&G 168 Colors Alcohol Markers, Dual Tip Markers, Chisel & Fine Alcohol-based Art Markers Set for Kids Adults Coloring Illustration, Great Value Pack for Students' Art Class seemed like a good set for the piece, and at the time it was additional $ off. I like that the set has 168 colors. There is a good variety among the different colors, and the shade you want is probably int here if you can find it. A couple of issues that you should know about before buying: The color indicated on the top, and sometimes the tip of the marker itself, is not even close to the actual shade. You absolutely need a swatch sheet to save your sanity. Many of the markers were dried out. After trying about 30% of the markers in the set, I would say between 5 and 10 were really dried out. I'm going to try rehydrating with 91% isopropyl alcohol and see how that works. I was past my return window, or I might have considered sending them back. My ultimate advice is to invest in a better quality set. Even if it has fewer colors. This has so many it becomes frustrating to find the right one anyway. If you do purchase, a full swatch sheet is a must to find the color you want efficiently.

These alcohol markers are great for coloring books. My kids loved them so much they took them back with them to college and I ordered another set! Love them! Great quality too

They dry quickly but they DO bleed thru even heavy paper so be sure to use something between. They are easy on the fingers to hold. There are not many BRIGHT colors . There are MANY choices of shades of off white...would rather see BRIGHT colors, can't imagine ever needing so many shades of white and gray. The case is pretty flimsy. The colors are numbered but not all numbers follow in order and when you find the out of order number, it is with a color group that actually matches it better. Several of them sound scratchy agains the paper which makes me think they are drying out. My cheap big box of Crayola markers have brighter colors and dont bleed thru. I will keep them, but would recommend trying a different brand. I had several I would have rather have ordered but when I tried to order, I got a message THIS CANT BE SHIPPED TO THIS ADDRESS, TRY A DIFFERENT ADDRESS. I only have one address!

Bought these for myself then ended up having to get a new set because mine got taken over by a friend because they loved them so much lol!
