The Battle of Evermore Paperback – 15 October 2021

Lean, fast-paced and reminiscent of the countless fantasy novels that were churned out in the '80's and '90's during the fantasy boom and residual echoes from D&D taking over the nerd zeitgeist, by the first chapter you have something that nearly becomes familiar and expectant only to have it wrenched away and turned on its head. I had been exhausted by the fantasy genre for a while before reading this, solid and swift, be sure to have the companion (its sequel) near by when you finish this one.

This story definitely had a LotR vibe to it. A journey to return magic to where it belongs across hostile lands. It's packed full of action, so if you're a fan of battle after battle with little respite in-between, this is your book.What was fascinating was the world itself. The concept was very cool, with werewolves and vampires and many beasts in-between, humanoid and not. It's always a delight to see a hydras, but dearlings!? Wicked cool.

Great character descriptions and good flowing story line. Looking forward to Book 2

There were so many errors it was hard to follow the story. Some of the sentences ended when they should have continued. I'm no expert, but this was really bad. A serious editing needs to be done.

Needs a good editor for sentence syntax but other than that it’s a great story, look forward to reading more by him
