The numbers are calculated using the left tip of Alaska as "0". From the left tip of Alaska, triangle hangers are spaced level at 14, 19, 23, 26, 35, and 51. Mark them in a level line. Use a level to mark the 23 and 26 spots again, but at 3 inches above the first line. The Americas will hang on 14 and 19, Greenland on 23 and 26, and Europe/Russia on 35 and 51.
