This rather large beauty is well made and has reasonable sound. The stations come in well and are clear overall. It's good to have an antenna. The quality of build is high and appreciated. It looks really retro cool. The only slight drawback is the sound level when connected to Bluetooth - it's not very loud. You can get good volume when playing the radio. If I turn the bass way up, Bluetooth is fair, but not fantastic. Still it's a great value and it's worth the price.

This is a great device. First off, let me say that it sounds like a radio of this time period should sound. It is NOT hifi. It is how it should sound, good mid-ranges favoring voice bands, plus, not too bad highs and lows. It has a good DSP based am and FM receiver to boot. AM clarity is super, and FM is easy to tune in. The AM band is clear due to the fact that they put in a transformer and rectifier based power supply, so no switching noise destroying the signal. Whoever designed this had knowledge of how radio works. The Bluetooth is clean and great sounding with every bit of the range you expect it to work at. Unlike other speakers I've had, this one seems pretty resistant to WIFI signal interference. I've had ZERO drop-outs when this thing is near routers and other equipment. The fact that you have to plug this in as you would any other radio, makes it one that you can just leave on all the time with no worry about having to recharge it every time you turn around. The looks, size, heft, and build of this radio is exactly the experience you would get from the real thing. IT carries a lot of the DNA of the vintage stuff I used to find in thrift stores and older houses. I would blend in seamlessly with any of those older boxes. Real wood and press-board backing just like how they were made back in the day. I do not regret my purchase in the slightest. It is wort the money for what you get. A great radio for a great price.

Have been looking for a simple FM radio powered by a regular AC cord. I also like the aesthetic, as it matches the antiques in our house. After my wife opened it Christmas morning, we plugged it in. Lo and behold, the dial happened to be perfectly tuned to a channel playing Christmas music. We were delightfully surprised by the sound quality. Punches way above its weight class. It is also easy to tune, and we really like the illuminated dial. We haven’t tried pairing the Bluetooth yet, and will update this review if it is anything less than satisfactory. We couldn’t be happier with this little radio!

Looks great and has nice retro styling. Speaker leans heavily towards a more “bassy” sound, but sounds ok. I like the amber glow of the radio dial and the Bluetooth worked very well.

For the price this a very good radio/ Bluetooth speaker. Sound is surprisingly good considering what you pay. Has a nice finished cabinet and the lighted dial gives it a nostalgic touch. Reception has been good and Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless. Would recommend to anyone who wants a retro radio. Don't expect audiophile sound if so you need true audiophile gear. I have audiophile gear costing thousands but wanted retro radios this one has good sound considering the price point.

I did not need a clock, just wanted a radio. This little radio works great. I like to listen to the news, some talk shows & music as I clean & cook. I live in a very rural area & even without using the antenna I get all the stations I want. The sound is very clear. This retro radio is the perfect size & looks good sitting on the living room bookshelf.
