Simple one of the best washing machines I have ever used. We like to spend time in our kitchen and this machine is so quiet it's nearly unbelievable. In a previous rented accommodation I was lucky enough to have an LG Direct Drive washing machine and was very impressed, I hadnt really heard of Haier but thought I would take a chance since Amazon had this at such a great price especially for a Direct Drive washing machine! First and foremost, if you have never had a direct drive and you are looking for a new washing machine then this has to be at the top of your requirements list. It is so quiet, hardly shakes or rumbles on a full cycle, we can sit in the kitchen and easily have a normal conversation. The machine itself looks stunning, the controls are easy and intuitive and has everything you'd ever need and the drum is a decent size. The LED lit drum is also great, very handy for spotting the odd missing item lurking away at the back when emptying and overall just makes the appliance look more premium. It is also quite narrow in regards to depth which made it very easy to install, we don't have a large space so this fitted in a lot better than our old one. It washes our clothes perfectly as you'd expect, but to be fair most washing machines do this pretty well. Its cycle time is certainly quicker than our old machine which is another great benefit, I like how you can adjust the cycle time to your needs. Even though I hadn't really heard of Haier I was able to register for a 5 year parts and labour warranty as this appliance is part of their selected range on the additional warranty scheme which makes this even better value for money! Overall, this is a fantastic alternative to an LG Direct Drive that offers some great unique features. We have been using for a few weeks now and I would not hesitate in recommending this, everything is perfect so far, hopefully we will have many years of happy washing.

This washing machine is amazing I can get almost a week's worth of watching done in one load. It's so incredibly quiet you can't even hear it when it's on full spin The tick of my kitchen clock is louder than the spin of this washing machine. It has quite a few settings on the front dial, but but you can access it before potential through the app. Literally for any occasion It has a setting on the app If you need to rinse something again it's in the settings, even down to special settings for ski suits and diving suits this machine has it. On top of all this it's self-cleans every wash and it's even got a dedicated program to clean itself after 100 washes. The one thing I would definitely advise on you need two people this machine is !very heavy! I would even suggest paying the extra to have people bring it in the house and unbox it for you as I struggled on my own. On the plus side though it's no bigger than a typical washing machine for the amount of washing it can hold. Can't recommend enough particularly through Amazon as it's it's around £150 cheaper

The item is defective, vibrating uncontrollably, shaking and moving around with loud noise. The video has the evidence. I had a pick up man who came to pick it up on Monday September 29, 2025 but refused taking the machine arguing that I am using the machine and should continue because there was a sock and pillow case my small daughter threw inside in error. I cannot use the machine. I need a replacement urgently. I am not interested in refund, but replace the item for me because it is defective. How can I be using a machine with this vibration and noise. Washing machine that is not defective cannot vibrate and make such loud noise. Please replace the machine. Regards Albert Ini

I cannot believe how quiet it is! My husband installed it with no issue, plugged straight in. We love the 11kg drum capacity our last washing machine was 9kg and this definitely makes a huge difference, saving in multiple washes. Although we thought at first it was a little pricey now we have it we’re not disappointed. Plus we’ll be saving quite a bit on the running cost due to the energy saving and not having to put on multiple loads. The endless programs and features is what drew me to the washing machine in the first place. I wanted a steamed fresh machine and thix is great! Also love the fact I can connect to it via WiFi. But the app isn’t the best in my opinion and o don’t get all the notifications even though I’ve enabled this function. Overall a good buy!

I was a bit worried after reading quite a lot of bad reviews, but so far (Only had it a few weeks at the time of writing this) the machine has been very good, quiet, washes and spins well and looks good.

If it wasn't for the installers failing to remove 2 poles from the rear of the washing machine, I would have probably given a better rating The machine works well and is quiet, that is after making sure its level, using a spanner on the front feet to adjust. I paid extra for installation and then had to pull the washing machine out to find the 2 poles they left in it even though there was 2 clear big yellow tabs on them saying to remove before using the washing machine and then putting it back and levelling it myself.

I was initially reluctant to buy this machine despite having some good reviews in the press. I have to admit some the poor reviews on here really scared me as they appear as horror stories. But this machine is ultra quiet. When it’s spinning at top speed you can barely hear it and thats saying something in our house where we have a suspended wooden floor which is prone to vibrations from washing machines. The functionality is next generation, as is the ease of use. I can only presume that those people who have bad experiences with this product failed to remove the ‘transit bolts’ before use. Something which is clearly stated in both the instructions and on a big sticker at the back of machine. Something which every new washing machine has fitted to protect the drum in transit, and something which if you dont remove before use will destroy any machine.
