It really is a nice case but at a high price point
I'd like to begin with a few things that you should know right off the bat:This is not a waterproof case. Yes, it may shed some rain or a good splash but this is not "waterproof". Dunk this in a lake or another body of water and water will seep in instantly through the zipper.I'm not sure why it's a "tactical" case. There are no molle straps or any other type of connecting strap so there's no way to attach it to your plate carrier or anything else for that matter. Yes, there is a shoulder strap and yes I suppose you can stuff it in a backpack in a tactical operation, but tactical, this case is not.Lastly, this is not a heavy-duty case. This is a hard case and a nice one at that. A heavy-duty hard case to me means, a Pelican case or something along those lines. So let's get to the case itself. It really is a nice-looking, nicely constructed case for whatever you plan to put in it. The fit and finish are both very nice. The stitching is well done, the interior feels nice, and will protect your binoculars. The handle feels secure, the strap attachment points feel solid. For me, there's really nothing to dislike or complain about with this case and it looks and feels as expected based on the manufacturer photos. I knocked it down to 4 stars for the simple reason that their description does not match the photos or the product and the price point is a bit high.

Protected my binoculars during travel
Once again I took my binoculars on a recent vacation. I needed a case that was durable to replace my aging case. This one worked very well. It was light weight and very affordable. The binoculars traveled well in their new case.

Nice case - Snugly fits my vintage Swift binoculars.
Amazingly fits my my vintage (1980’s) Swift 8x40 binoculars. Their original case was destroyed years ago by a drunken college roommate, and so they have not had external protection in ages. Was so glad to find a nice case so that I can start carrying them in my vehicle again.

Fine case. Just be sure of your sizes
This is a nice little hardcase, with 2 smooth zippers, a strong handle, and strong anchors for the heavy duty strap.I see this case worked for another reviewer's 10x50.I tried 3 different sets of binocs with this: Brigenius 10 x 50 (nowhere near fitting); Bausch & Lomb 10x50 (maddeningly close to fitting, but doesn't); and my Bushnell 7 x 35 (which it practically swallows - see picture). There isn't much not to like about this. However, when my binocs are in their soft cases, the larger covered lenses create a base structure that allow the soft cases to sit upright on a shelf or whatever surface I place them on. The Xenage case's zipper piece completely encircles the case (see picture). And so, the case cannot sit upright on its own. This is a minor quibble, but I've gotten used to upright cases over the year. First case was old school military hardcase with a removable/securable cap. This one simply won't stand on its own. And so, I'm far more likely to retain my soft cases for my binocs and use this case for something else. I don't get a 'tactical' or 'waterproof' vibe off this. I think if it had a gasket and latch, then maybe. As is, it's a nice little case that I'm sure I'll find a use for...As long as it's a something that can lay flat on a shelf.

Protect your investment
I have several different binoculars, some didn’t cost much while others cost an arm and a leg. One thing they all seem to have in common are their cases. All were soft sided or they had a hard sided case made of cardboard and covered with a leather looking material (cheap)Either way, I wanted something that offered more physical protection to my investment without restricting my access to them. That’s where the Xenage case comes in. I never thought I would own a hard sided case, yet they do have some advantages, the most obvious one being protection. The Xenage case is JUST big enough to hold my binoculars. Which is good from the standpoint of not allowing them to bounce around inside the case. There is both an outside and inside pocket for misc items such as a lens cleaning cloth. The zipper is made of nylon/plastic and wraps around three sides of the case, allowing the case to be fully opened and flipped down for easy access to your binoculars. The case material is well made and comes with an adjustable strap. While not waterproof, the case does offer better water, dust and physical protection then a soft sided case. There is an inside strap for securing The binoculars, albeit I probably won’t use it. There is also a neck/shoulder strap and a top mounted carrying handle.A quality set of binoculars should have a quality case to go with it. I believe the Xenage case meets that need at an affordable price.

Perfect Case for Binoculars or Other “Goodies”
This is a nice hard shell case for binoculars (or other items you want to protect). There are a lot of details I like on this case. First, the handle is a nice visual design as well as practical design. It is a rubberized grip surrounding a woven strap material. It has two zippers to open the case and access your items (always a plus for me). The shoulder strap is woven and is extendable. The strap can clip or un-clip into the D rings on the sides of the case depending on your needs. There is a canvas pocket on the outside of the case for flat items. The inside has elastic to hold your binoculars and the elastic is equipped with hook and loop tape. The other side of the case has a mesh pocket with elastic trim to hold other “goodies”. The interior stitching is done nicely and the edges are bound with what seems like a nylon binding. The inside lining looks to be a microfiber material and is soft to protect from scratching.I will be using the case for binoculars or camera equipment that I want to take along on photo shoots in the field. I believe this case will provide good protection. Definitely would recommend. I actually like this case so much that I might order a second one. Definite Five Stars!
