very easy to put together and strong. l can tell that the racking will last a very long time. Very good value for my money.

They were as you see ,very good quality, very easy you assemble. Very stable metal is a good thickness and very strong .

Very pleased with my racking .looks great and was a doddle to build .had the whole lot built in aboout an hour. No problems building it and it's quite rigid and strong.

A well made bit of kit.....ideal for storage boxes etc in the garage or shed.....workshop.

Very stable, and of obvious quality. Myself and wife (both in our mid 70's managed to self assemble these units in a few hours. The first taking longer than the rest once we had sussed out the best way the assemble them (Follow the instructions?). We had a few slight problems with some of the tabs not going all the way in to the slots (getting caught on the exit) and some coming outside the slot (bent tabs). Both these problems solved by the use of a flat blade screw driver to either ease the slot or straighten the tab once the offending shelf support had been removed from the upright. Just to make that clear the supplied items appeared to be perfectly made but the hammering with the assembly mallet may have been the cause of these problems but very quickly sorted. Only slight down side, for our use, was the wish that further shelve kits would have been a useful addition (making 6 per unit) but not available from supplier. Answer; buy a further single unit use three shelves from this to add the extras to the first units. Due to the method of assembly this was a very easy job not requiring the 'demolition' of the existing structures. The remaining pieces have made a useful work bench. A RECOMMENDED and worthwhile purchase.

I have bought a lot of racking for stock,this stuff is really sturdy and easy to put together, very straightforward, even comes with a mallet for fixing. Very well priced, I haven't found cheaper in this size or quality.The mallet did come in handy again when I read some of the reviews on here, I could hit myself on the back of the head with it. Rating theses shelves 1 star because you missed your delivery isn't fair really is it? The guy who says it is a nightmare to assemble probably isn't allowed to handle sharp knives and has a plastic cup and plate.The reason I leave reviews is because of the bulls*** some people write. The product is fine, but get a grown up to help you if your struggling.

This comes in three boxes. One of the boxes was missing a vertical angle iron. This is boltless meaning it is relying on metal tabs hammered into slots for assembly and held together by friction, luck and faith. You have to use a flat head screw driver to open up the slots so that the tabs will fit. Most of the tabs do not fit properly. They do provide a rubber mallet. However when the mallet is used, the frame and tabs bend. If you do buy this and I really hope you don't, I recommend marking the shelf locations on all vertical pieces before connecting all the vertical pieces into a frame. I would heartily recommend buying one of the bolt or treaded assembly models and not even consider a boltless assembly.
