I got this as a fathers day gift and my wife had to explain to the kids that it was mine (they are all dino lovers). The set was fun to build, not too time consuming (finished it in a few hours). It's a decent size and displays well. Interesting use of some of the bricks to create negative spaces. It's kind of hard not to give LEGO a 5 star just because most LEGO builds are fun.

This was a gift for my 12 year old grandson who loves dinosaurs and legos. When he got it he immediately began following the instructions and putting it together. The instructions are easy to follow. It is great way for them to learn to follow instructions and complete a project. Great gift!

My 8 and 9 yo sons built this in about an hour. This is currently one of their favorite sets. It’s proudly displayed on their dresser instead of in our basement’s lego dump site. Easy to assemble, yet very detail oriented (especially the skull). Great value for the cost. No missing pieces and good size. The skull is on a pedestal and does seem slightly too heavy, but is actually very secure.

This was not an overly extensive build, but not so simple it was boring. It came with a few extra pieces in case you lost any. I will say it’s a bit fragile, so after it is put together it should be carefully moved and not played with much. It looks really great when completed. I love building legos with my son so this was a great buy.

I got this for my son for a gift and he had it built in about 15 minutes. It is not very big and easy to build. Great for a beginner or intermediate; pros would probably want something larger and more complex.

The value for the money is there, but the stability in the finished product is not. I find that the large skull can easily come off the stand, being probably the weakest point of the model. The foliage around the sign also can come off easily. The sign itself is a large sticker and will take some care to line it up good. Otherwise the model goes together fairly well with pretty simple instructions

I love legos and I love dinos so this was the petfrct set. I’m an adult and it took me probably 4-5 hours to put it together. Granted I was watching a show, so it probably would have taken less time if all my focus had been on it.The best price I found for this set was on Amazon, it looks great on my bookshelf, and it’s super detailed down to the mosquito in amber and the info plate for the “skull.” Super happy with this!There are a bunch of small pieces that are pretty easy to lose so I definitely wouldn’t recommend little ones do this set without parental supervision.
