I was looking for ant eaters because that was his favorite animal. So when they arrived in the mail, I loves the size! They aren’t super super small like some of the animals that come in the tubes or different containers! I would recommend these animals to others!

The quality of the ant eater was so much better than I thought it would be, since the price was so cheap!!

These are great fun, little plastic anteater figures/toys. They are medium weight resin guys with no articulation or anything, so straddling the statue/toy line I suppose. I would definitely have expected to find this sort of thing at the dollar store back in my youth, not sure if they still stock similar things. Anteaters are obviously weird and fun to have a figure of, but I would definitely classify these in the toy realm. The sculpt is good but they were clearly hand-painted in a rush, so I would not think they would be appropriate for a discerning educational setting. But they are fun, don't get me wrong.

I'm very impressed with the level of detail on these models and especially that they are anatomically correct showing the front two feat curled since they walk on their knuckles. Since they are accurate enough, I can actually use these as props when teaching my classes.
