Love these wee feders squirrels and big birds can't get near it RESULT!!!

Wasn't sure about this when I first hung it up. The birds seemed to avoid it. But now they know what it contains they can't keep away. And it's just great for the smaller birds like blue tits and robins.

Have been buying this product for years and we have many birds using it ,especially love watching the wood peckers. Good value for money given the joy we have from watching the variety of birds.

I deleted my first rather negative review and willingly eat humble pie with this far more positive review. I moved this feeder to a different location and now the birds love it. So if you’re not having much success I suggest you try a different location. I have omitted one star because the chain was difficult to put on!

We put up some bird boxes during lockdown, and sadly the only things to have occupied them are wasps!! However this year TWO pairs of blue tits have been checking them out on a daily basis. We bought this to entice them and its working!! Hung in the tree next to the boxes, they found it within an couple of hours and now visit regularly for a meal. Fingers crossed this does the trick. Its easy to assemble and the small birds love it, keeping the greedy wood pigeons from eating everything.

I buy the flutter butter itself in bulk & refill the jars. I need to replace the holder from time to time as the hooligan squirrels either unhook the chains or damage the perch. There is a different type of holder which looks like a little house & doesn't damage so easily.

The peanut butter doesn't last long as the birds love it. Especially the starlings who are queuing to get at it.

I love this item it is just right for the little birds Robins and blue ties. The only thing I would say fitting the chain was really hard if like me you have arthritis. And I couldn't get the item to balance level thank goodness for husbands.
