Super powerful
This DSP performs very well. It has a 32-band graphic equalizer for the main inputs (4) and a 16-band parametric equalizer for each output (8) for each speaker. Think about the amount of control you can have. 1- I matched my voltage for the outputs and inputs correctly. 2- I did the crossover cuts. 3- I flat-eq the system with a little bump in the low frequencies. The results were truly remarkable, with the system delivering an incredible sound. 4- I could tweak every speaker to my liking, and the result was phenomenal. One more thing: It produced almost 5 volts out with no distortion whatsoever, and my amps are running super cool. My sub gain is set at about 11 o'clock, and my front/rear at 9. Even if you are off a budget, I recommend this unit. The Bluetooth connects super fast, the app is very user-friendly, and it has a limiter, master gain, channel gain, time corrections, you name it. This is a super unit. It is 100% recommended.

Amazing product when you figure out the software.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: For $170 this is a ton of functionality in a very small package. If you’re in the market for a DSP but don’t want to shell out $550 for a helix mini this will get you a ton of features for a fraction of the price. Make sure you use the marts digital app to connect with the device, it allows you to actually use it. Time alignment, 31band eq on each speaker and the main channel, etc etc etc it’s so so powerful. AND CHEAP. And small!

Bluetooth does not connect; no product support!
Do not buy! Another reviewer confirmed that the Bluetooth doesn’t work, and I've run into similar problems. The app is outdated and incompatible with the latest Android versions. It attempts to connect but freezes indefinitely, while the Bluetooth indicator just keeps blinking. I also discovered this product isn’t actually made by Marts. It appears to be a rebranded—or possibly cloned—DSP, as I’ve found at least three different companies selling the same unit with only minor variations in the enclosures. My guess is that they’re sourcing the PCB boards from China, fabricating custom enclosures, and slapping their brand names on them. If I had to guess, these are cloned evaluation boards originally designed by SigmaDSP, a division of Analog Devices. They are known for developing high-fidelity yet budget-friendly integrated DSP ICs—essentially self-contained 32-bit DSP/EQ/Crossover systems on a single chip. I really resent how these companies are scamming customers, charging upwards of $500 for something that could be built with a $13 SigmaDSP chip, a $20 PCB, $10 in RCA connectors, $10 Bluetooth module, and a $20 enclosure. They all sound identical anyway, since it’s the same SigmaDSP chip doing all the work.

Works on US Android phones with previous app version found through YouTube
The DSP works well and I noticed a difference in sound quality after switching out the Expert PX2R Connect 6 channel DSP(only is a noticeable upgrade with carbon fiber/fiber glass based speakers like the Alpine Type R series). However, the DSP worked best for my Galaxy S25 Ultra by downloading an older version of the app for this DSP not theough its included QR code. Not only that, I turned on airplane mode, turned off auto blocker under the security and privacy settings, turned on developer options and disabled A2DP communication, and under "Apps" I hit show system apps and under Bluetooth I put it on unrestricted battery use. I also did the sane within the actual Marts app as well making it unrestricted battery use. Keep in mind that the Bluetooth light on the DSP will keep blinking even when you are connected, and will only turn solid briefly as a new profile is being loaded to it.

Clean sounding with tons of features
This is my second DSP, this is the one to get. Strong signal, no noise, compact, inexpensive, easy to adjust using your phone, inexpensive, several memory slots that you can share, EQ in/out for every channel, delay, crossovers, etc. I could go on and on, it's a budget GEM. Get it!!

A great deal at under 200 for a DSP
After several months of research/review watching, the MARTS BTX8-DSP came out as my top choice amongst entry level DSP for car audio. The 4 INPUTS and 8 OUTPUTS was a key feature for retaining fade capabilities. Connection via Bluetooth is effortless. The app controls for setting channel routing, gains and crossover points are very responsive while the EQ section could be a bit more refined as making settings isn't as finely tuned. My DSP is managed via a Galaxy phone, so the controls may be better on a device with more screen real estate. There are other DSPs that run similar software at about $80 but most of those DSPs are limited to 2 INPUTS. For $160 this DSP gives you a lot of functionality that you find in higher end units (Audison, Audio Dynamics etc) cost several hundred dollars more. IMO this is a great unit to add if you're just getting into DSP. This is a budget DSP that doesn't perform like typical budget gear. If I hadn't already committed to an Audio Control DSP Amplifier for my other vehicle, I would seriously consider going with the MARTS BTX8 again.

Really tuned my system
Oh yes. This is really deal. Sound quality is just awesome. I had used stetsom Bluetooth dsp before this and it sounds terrible. Just alone using this fixes audio quite a bit but remember you have to play with it and your EQ to get it just right. I was having distortion on my sub channel before and this fixes that by letting me cut off certain frequency. And yes you get 4 in 8 out channels 31 bands EQ AND 31 bands parametric EQ per channel. You don’t get 31 parametric EQ in most DSPs at this price range for all 8 channels. Really allow you to dial in. Build quality is also nice . You get shinier front side with clip for left and right channels. Also 8 limiter LEDs that also serve as clip when limiter not used. I’m using this for 4 channel amp and 2 skar evls 12 alongwith pioneer headunit. You also get a sticker with it. Packaging also feels premium. Overall fully satisfied.
