COMFY
These are super comfortable and very warm. I want them to wear under clothing just to keep me warm and they work wonderfully.

Smaller than expected
I am happy with the product because I am a smaller than normal person. At 5'2 and 110# these fit nicely at a size small top and size small bottom. The material does allow it to be stretched so that is good in this case. The material has a bit of a pattern to it, it is a cottony feel vs some of the other thermals that are smoother or silkier, or fleece like.Literally every pair of pants I can recall wearing that was not a 'petite' size has been to long (by many inches)...these were almost too short, came right to the top of the ankle so for anyone with a longer than 29 inch inseam these may be a bit short - that may be desirable if you don't want your thermals peaking through at the bottoms of your pants but could be an issue depending on the person and the use. These are too thick to wear under street clothes like jeans or something, but to wear under 'winter' clothes or something would be just about right.I was happy to see these don't need to be altered or rolled up but for most people this would cause them to be 'too short'. Also, the thighs areas were tight...by no means do I have big thighs but this material was uncomfortably tight in the thighs. I pulled on it and it stretched out and stayed larger so it was then comfortable.I am happy with this product because I am an unusual size but for the 'average' sized person these would be too small. A size small in 'petite' sizes equates to a size XS in regular (so a size petite S top would fit the same in the body as a size XS in regular but the regular would have longer arms and hit a bit longer on the hip). A size small in regular clothes is typically a bit big for me and I can count on them being too long in the arms/legs. These were a pleasant surprise for me but could easily disappoint someone of 'average' height. My suggestion - be prepared for the arms/legs to be a bit short and go up a size (if you normally order a S order a M).For any ladies under 5'3"....these will likely fit perfectly!

Size & shrinkage notes
I typically wear a size 10 or Large bottoms, but according to Duofold size chart measurements, I am between sizes L and XL. I never have worn XL in anything before, but I purchased both sizes to try.New out-of-the-box the L fit like ballet tights, whereas the XL was fitted but not constricting. I decided XL was the better fit. But wearing them around the house over the next day(s), the XL stretched out baggy too big. I washed and dried them and they "tightened" back up, but wearing them they stretched out too big again, I had to keep pulling them back up. They could only be okay for pajama pants at this point. So I returned to the size L, and with the stretchiness of the material and loosening as wearing them, these are the right size for me. Washing and drying doesn't really shrink them much at all, though each cycle will retighten the fabric, which loosens somewhat again with wear. I do have thick legs, and the ankles are NOT too tight. Yes, baggy knees, but overall still a really nice fitted base layer pant, esp for the price. They are indeed warm if worn as intended: fitted properly (like tights) and worn as a base layer under other pants. I like these very much for that purpose, I also like the Duofold Varitherm poly leggings (lots better than Cuddl Duds) & Duofold wool/cotton leggings, in both of which Large fit slightly looser than in these mid-weight poly/cotton ones.Measurements of size Large Duofold black cotton/poly pant:width above crotch V: 17-18" new, 17-18" washed (&-dried);length: 42.75" new, 40.25" washed;Measurements of size Medium Duofold black cotton/poly top:width under armpits: 17" new, 16.25" washed (&-dried);length: 25" new, 23.75" washed;arm length from shoulder seam: 23" new, 22.5" washed;Yes, material pills a bit (not much) after a few washes, but seems like almost all my new purchased clothing lately does, so oh well, not a deal breaker for me.

Order a size larger
I usually wear a size 4 pants, but order these thermal leggings in size M. They are just the right thickness to fit under my jeans and are warm enough for the mild winter here in Sedona AZ

Perfect for subfreezing dog walks
These are just what I needed for walking my dog in the early a.m. during an unusual cold spell, with temps down to 12°. I live in the piedmont region of N.C. and it hardly ever gets that cold here, so I didn't have all the necessary gear. I hate a binding waist so I sized up to XL. It probably wasn't necessary since it's clear these are designed not to bind. I'm just wearing them under baggy sweats so it doesn't matter that the larger size is not super trim on me. Duofold has been making long underwear forever (my mom used to buy them when we lived in Denver in the 70s) so they know what they're doing!

order a size larger that you usually wear. The lining takes up a size.
Very soft and pleasant to wear.

Good Mid Weight Thermal Legging
Fits easily and accommodates variation sizes.

Like the look, but fabric is very tightly woven
if not correct size, there's little "give" to the fit.

Belle couleur
La couleur est belle mais le legging n’est pas aussi chaud que je l’imaginais.

True to size - a little thinner than hoped
I ordered a medium and it fits very well, so I’d say true to size! They are very thin which if you are looking to put them under jeans or any other tighter fitting clothes they would be really good! I was planning on using them to keep my legs warm under track pants when walking my dog at night. I did try them out last night and my legs didn’t get cold, however it was a relatively mild night and there was no windchill. I’ll be curious to see if they remain warm when it’s -10° weather and windy!

Good buy for tall people!
I’m tall and have long legs, and have had a hard time finding a pair of thermal leggings that would work for me. These are still a bit short in the rise but the length of the legs is great, there’s room to spare for me so no cold ankles. The thickness and warmth are a bit less than I would’ve liked but still overall these are a solid buy and keep me warm most winter days.
