Biotics was initially a brand prescribed by my doctor years ago. Because of that, I trust there products. I've taken Biotics Bromelain daily for about 2 years. I take it on an empty stomach. It is easier to take one little pill every morning than always having pineapple on hand. The quality of the product is evident by smelling the inside of the bottle. It smells like pineapple. I have the tendency to have inflamation because of allergies and food intolerances. Bromelain keeps my tummy calm and keeps it from puffing out like a balloon. I do try to stay away from gluten. But every once and awhile when I have a hamburger, my stomach is not so upset.

This item is among few that can be purchased by itself, so there is more flexibility in being able to adjust amounts and using with other nutritional products. I am receive assistance with using Bromelain in combination with other things, so I am having success with this supplement. My body is most responsive to Bromelain when used properly. I have tried other brands, so I can see the difference. I also recommend having help one on one whenever possible.

When taken between meals I have found this product very effective in combatting inflammation. I cannot tolerate two tablets daily, so I take one in the evening about two hours before retiring. It's taken care of hip pain that I have had for a number of years. I don't know why this works over ibuprofen, but for me it does. If I stop taking it the pain returns.

These have helped my digesting track a ton in stabilizing issues I've had with bloating and irritability...just do NOT smell the bottle or tablets.
