I am pleased to say this seems to be working. I was skeptical at first as not much was happening in month 1 and 2. Middle of 3rd month I became more convinced it was working, I'd been worried that my mind was playing tricks on me, plus if you are looking at it every day the change from yesterday will not be noticeable. 3 months and 10 days in I'm so sure it's working I'm going to keep using it. Before I started when my hair was wet the thinning I was worried about was more noticeable, now if I wet it's impossible to say the hair is thinning anymore. And I'm only using it once a day, not the two times reccommended. Someone at work when I asked him said he thought it looked better, fuller, but then again people are ploite. What may have swung it for me is last night I looked at a photo of the top of my head a year ago, and the thinning is clear as day. When I asked a friend last night to look at top of my head they said they could hardly see any thinning. And remember there's other things in conjunction with this stuff that will help, like stop smoking (improved blood circulation), massage your scalp. I lost the derma roller about a month ago so have just been scraping it in roughly with my fingernails and yet things still seem to be improving. Only thing is apparently that you have to keep using it, when you stop the thinning comes back. But I seem to (at once a day) be going through this stuff at one bottle a month, so £16 a month is the least of my worries. I've also started using a clarifying shampoo once to twice a month to remove dead scalp. In the before and after pics below I was able to take photo under same lighting as have moved home. Also, one trick I've started doing with barbers is to ask them to leave the top a bit longer. Now, I cant remember when I started doing that but 90% sure that in before pic I had already started asking them to do that. Also, I notice that my thinning still seems there around the crown, but I also realise that I have been prioritising the front of my head with the minoxidil as thats the part I see every day. Also, I think I've been averaging 6 squirts as trying to make it last longer. If I start applying more to crown then 10 squirts will do but costs go to maybe £28 a month. Still. Also people, when leaving a review: nobody wants to see a 4or 5* review based on the cost or the fact it arrived on time, they want reviews based on results. Good luck!

If your suffering with thinning hair loss, then Minoxidil can help offset that to a point. The product is well known in the industry for slowing down hair loss, (as a side effect for use as a different product mind you), but its used to treat men and women alike (albeit in lower doses for women). The product in theory shortens the resting phase of the hair and encourages new hair growth in favor of the older hair. Regular use with 5% can improve hair to be thicker, but it can take months of daily use before it can start to improve the quality of your hair. Used twice a day, massaged in, it doesnt smell bad, just make sure you wash your hands afterwards and spray as directed, I usually use it when I first wake up, then an hour before bed. The bottle will last a month, (under a normal directed conditions), so its a bit expensive in terms of cost and it takes an average of three months to show any good signs of improved hair recovery. However early signs are possible, shedding is a primary indicator after a few weeks of possible hair growth and regrowth, however the actual process can take months to be fully effective. Note that some people respond quicker to the product than others, but its essentially about genetic makeup and everyone is different, so results can vary wildly in the first few months. I have noticed small hairs appearing, some shedding in early weeks, but this apparently is normal and to continue with treatments. Note that this product does not work for everyone and for certain hair or skin conditions, is not advisable. it does not fix baldness, but it can improve early hair loss if used regulary in some people. The biggest caveat to using this Minoxidil, if you do respond to the product, you have to use it regularly and forever to maintain the hair reqrowth, so something to bear in mind. it is worth a try if your hair is thinning at the front or you notice it getting thinner on top, You will either see results in three months or not. Early positive signs will encourage you to continue the treatment, so its probably worth the initial trial. You also get a derma roller which you should use say once a week to help stimulate your hair growth too. However I have a spiny hair brush, so do not really need to use it. There are some side effects, but the only one I experienced occasionally was a mild headache, this is due to the vasodilation of hair follicles, but otherwise I seem to tolerate it well. Pros: Easy to apply and use, 1 month supply, follow directions carefully, can encourage hair growth. Cons: Expensive, does not work for everyone, cannot treat certain hair types or conditions.

After having received this product, I was absolutely disappointed by the state it was delivered in. Firstly, the box the minoxidil bottles came in looked like it took a rough beating. There were also mysterious stains on the inside of said box. Secondly, the minoxidil bottles and the paper instructions were soaked (as if the bottles had leaked) and there were small strands of hair on the bottles. It almost makes me think the company received these bottles as returns and simply repackaged them into new boxes without any thought for hygiene or cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting. I had read another review before buying Sons Minoxidil which stated similar things. However, this was only one of few negative reviews and I felt reassured by the product's high ratings. Never have I felt so tricked! I would not recommend buying this product for this reason. We'd be best getting Regaine instead.

Been battling an ever growing bald patch for some time now. I have tried minoxidil tablets that did nothing and now giving this a go. The bottles are super easy to use and the texture is just like water, certainly not greasy. You spray on and then rub it in with your finger. The derma roller that comes with it I think might have to short a needle to be much use but as instructed I use it, but might buy a roller with longer pins. Very early days but it is super easy to use and as long as your head is dry when you use it, after 15 mins nobody can see it.

Am only beginning to use the product and will update the on results. But generally I was so happy it was delivered as advertised! The derma roller is really good and am hoping I get results as am being consistent. The 5 stars are for service delivery and delivered as advertised. 3 bottles and a derma roller hygienically packaged.

Micro needling is not as easy as it looks, you can leave your skin feeling sore and a red rash, however its best to roll it gently and not too much I find. Some people get sore more than others as well. If you can get used to the after effect its a proven method, I've used it before in the past. As I been using other methods till now thought I'd get back to this one again. You have to make sure the hair is clean before use so after shampooing is best time, you don't really have to do it every day, once a week is recommended. Micro needling helps the minoxidil to get more absolved in the follicles than using it on its own so this is a great idea, two in one. I'd recommenced checking with your doc before use as well as minoxidil is not suitable for everyone.
