Well written and enjoyable. However, as a long time reader, I predicted the plot twist about half way through the book. This spoiled the previous sense of mystery and confusion which until that point had been enjoyable. Overall an entertaining and quick read with well developed characters but nothing revolutionary.

Disappointing
Didn't see the twist coming so that was an interesting turn of events bit meant that some parts didn't really make sense. overall felt the madeline story line was merely a distraction that didn't really add anything to the plot. The story was slow to get going and rushed at the end. Didnt really warm to any characters and felt it was a bit childish.

Beautiful and thoughtful
The whole way through the book I was trying to figure out the plot and guess what happens next. But I never thought that would be the ending. An incredibly touching and powerful book, that brought tears to my eyes. Also beautifully written

Communication Breakdown, It's always the same…
Communication Breakdown, It's always the same…I will not tell you to much about the story because that would be spoiling it, but I will tell you that this two sisters became real and I cared for them enough that I felt sad when the book ended. The mystery in the story is about a lost little girl, and two sisters that can not communicate any more. The breakdown of a family that cares for each other but can not get it together enough to heal .Well executed, and touching, with well developed characters and no morbose violence; much more than just a thriller.

A must read
I’ve read a lot of Lauren Oliver’s books and this one meets up to her usual standard. It does jump a lot over different timelines and when I finished it I felt I wanted to go back and re-read it again for more clarity. However I read this when my mother was unwell in hospital and I must say it was a welcome distraction and really did take me out of myself for a while.

Excellent
Couldn't put it down, the book make you dwell like you know the characters and an unexpected twist makes the book even not enchanting

The authors style of writing was really nice however I hated both the layout and the plot
I found the blurb quite misleading and the book was definitely not what I was expecting. It was organised in a very jumbled way, jumping from time to time and person to person. The book ended quite suddenly, compared to the incredibly long, drawn-out opening, leaving me slightly confused. The authors style of writing was really nice however I hated both the layout and the plot.
