Already opened for my students else I would have taken a pic. Very heavy and a lot of coins not one is unwrapped. The embossing isn’t that defined but that is not something I care about but maybe you will. I taste tested one just for quality control, lol. My Mom owned a gourmet chocolate store so kind of an expert on real chocolate flavor. These taste way better than any chocolate coin that I ever got in my stocking. They definitely have real chocolate in them and don’t have any of that fake oil taste in a lot of commercial chocolate even in Godiva. I was worried that they would taste like those horrible mocklate bars kids sell at school for band but they don’t at ALL. My students will love them and using them as incentives for when kids are on task. Definitely will buy them again when I run out. I have been ripped off by quite a few sellers of other foods on here so it is a pleasant surprise that I got more quality than I expected. These are real chocolate just not as smooth as $25 a lb chocolate but pretty dang close.

Unfortunately, not a lot of options for this kind of thing. I had about 30 coins where the wrapping had come off, so I obviously had to throw them out instead of hand out to the trick or treaters. Wouldn’t normally complain, but at $60 🙄

I'm not sure if quality control is hard to execute on bulk candies, but there were at least 25 coins that were defective (ie. the foil had fallen off), and generally the majority of coins did not even have the "print" of the coin stamped onto the foil. I have bought many different brands of bulk gold coins, and this bag had the most defective and not pristine looking ones that I have tried.

The chocolate tasted flavorful and fresh. I ordered them to give out as Halloween candy. I plan to put several coins in little party favor gold crowns and give them at a Trunk or Treat. The 5 lb bag had 319 coins. 9 of them had missing/crumpled wrappers and some more had loose wrappers, but the majority were fine. The 5 lb bag cost me $55.99 (Oct 2022). So with 319 coins that works at 17c each. IMO that’s quite pricey. I double checked the weight and it read accurate. 1 lb ~ 64 coins (5lb = 64 x 5 = 320). The coins measure 1.5” diameter (~ 4 cm). I would recommend them and probably purchase again if I needed gold coins.
