These are very nice boxes and I especially like the screened bottom boards. Very easy to assemble with dove tail joints. Third time purchased and will purchase again. Arrived several days before expected. Highly recommend!

VERY pleased with the quality of this hive! This hive goes together and squares up better than my Flow hive did which cost 8x this hive. No painting required because the wax dipping is thicker than I expected which is perfect! The frames are a touch thinner than standard frames but that leaves plenty of room for traps or treatments. The foundations are waxed well enough that my bees took right to it even late in the season. I will be buying another.

The media could not be loaded. Great joints - the boxes fit together perfectly. Excellent bottom board.I would rate this 5 out of 5, if it wasn't for the "100% natural bee wax" that everything is covered with.... No, i don't believe it's natural, and i don't think it's even bee wax. It's a chemical imitation of wax. I had to sand the boxes inside - as i don't want my bees being in contact with this staff, and it wasn't easy to sand, wasted a whole package of sand paper. And i threw out the plastic foundation because it's covered in this chemical. I hope that in the future, they don't put this stuff on the inside part of the box, nor on the inner cover, nor on the frames. And than i would give them 5 stars, as everything else is great! Especially happy with the bottom board.

Great price affordable. Easy to build

My husband usually makes our bee hives. We were blessed to catch a swarm of bees and had to get a box quickly. This starter hive is perfect, it came with everything that is needed to start a hive. We bought it because it was the only one we found that had a screened bottom board, perfect for hot weather ventilation! Everything went together perfectly. Joints were tight when assembled. Everything was well made and very good quality and it arrived very quickly. We are very happy with our purchase. Thank you!

Great hive kit. Fit is excellent, super tight joints, lots of wax coating. Assembled easily and looks great. I think material is all pine, but high quality. Very pleased with everything!
