I use this on a modified scooter with a liquid cooling conversion. I had one fail after a couple of years of use, but it's a harsh environment on my application. The failure was able to be fixed well enough to keep riding. It had debris from it's own rotor built up and seizing the pump, but a few screws allowed me to take it apart and clean it out. That saved me from being stranded and actually worked for a couple hundred miles before I replaced it. Plenty of flow to keep my engine cool, but not a huge electrical load.

I wish they would have provided the waterproof hard shell connector for pump, or at the very least provided the part number for the plug. I used mine for a extra water pump for my Yamaha Rhino as I have a heater that requires the hoses to be above the radiator. This pump works perfect for that application and now I do not overheat and able to bleed cooling system just by turning on key. After much searching I was able to find that the hard shell connector is part #4D09711992. I hope this helps the next person

This is perhaps factory replacement for my 2007 GL450 auxiliary water pump. Perfect fit and works quietly. If you hear coolant is boiling after a couple minutes with your AC or heat on (it's a front/back system) AND your engine isn't overheating, this part and about 10 minutes (plus the mess) will fix.
