Great value rock solid reliablity & Performance
I found a nice switch with 10gig SFP+ port and have built a Proxmox home server and that motherboard had a 10Gig Ethernet port. I used this SFP+ to RJ45 to make the required connections. It has connected things up reliably and w/o any reported errors for several months now. Performance tests seem solid and within specifications.

Work Well, But Runs Hot
The 10GBase-T SFP+ adapter works exactly as expected — truly plug and play with no additional configuration required. It connected instantly and delivered stable 10GbE performance in my setup. However, as other reviewers have noted, it does run very hot. Under heavy load, the module reached up to 60°C. To address this, I added a few small heatsinks, and that brought the temperature down significantly — now it hovers around 45°C even during sustained use. Overall, it’s a solid adapter for the price, but I definitely recommend adding passive cooling if you plan to use it in a tightly packed or poorly ventilated enclosure.

Works well, runs hot.
Works out of the box with Sodola switch. Runs very hot, knocked off a star, but otherwise good value for money.

Works with TP-Link Omada switches
Ordered a few of these to add a couple extra non-PoE Ethernet ports to some TP-Link Omada switches by leveraging the unused SFP ports. These were plug and play and recognized immediately. Links at gigabit speeds as expected without any issues.

It works
Good in a pinch, ended up replacing it with a fiber to SFP to ditch the router of the ISP

Day 1 Evaluation - Excellent
Just received and evaluated on my LAN to check it out. It works very well. Purchased the Sodola 9 Port 2.5GB SFP+ to go along with this purchase. Irratic
I've purchased the SODOLA SFP+ to go with my SODOLA switch. Initially everything worked, but I found out that I would be dropping packets for seconds at a time. What's worse is that after the SFP+ is plugged into the switch, it cannot be removed. No matter what I've tried I could no longer unplug the SFP+. This is bad as 1) I cannot unplug the SFP+ to return it; and 2) I now run out of SFP+ port on the SODOLA switch. The only option would be to get a brand new switch with brand new SFP+ and throw all of the current investment away (or just use the 2.5Gbps port and live with it)

I use two of these to connect Sodola managed and unmanaged switches. Decided to play it safe and buy the same brand and they work very well with a short, good quality cat6 cable. As other reviewers have said, they do run a little hot, but well within the specs. Easy to set up, plug and play.
