This kit worked so well! It cleaned my cue shaft better than I expected. But the most shocking thing was that the sandpaper made my shaft softer and it now glides much better now. I recommend to anyone with a wood shaft. Only bummer is that watching the McDermott YouTube video on how to use they say that a few years back it only cost $20 bucks and now it’s $47. I seriously doubt it costs more than double to make now.

Easy to use, washable and good durable product.

Simple and quick. Watched Mcdermott video prior and my results were satisfying, Shaft was smooth, clean and felt new after few minutes. Use bottles sparingly they're pretty small. Negative is pricing but overlooked with results so far.

Used this on my 30 year old McDermott cue, and couldn’t be happier. I followed the instructions in the video on the McDermott site, and my favorite cue stick looks and feels like new. Yes, it’s pricey, but it works! Now I just need to figure out how to get the linen wrap replaced.

Size was a bit deceiving in the ad. Pieces are all smaller than they appeared. But it all worked well and the instructions on the paper were good to show the stages of use for the paper and liquids. They all helped each of my cues to get back to a much better feel.

I had my G-Core shaft turned down to 12.4mm and it had an open grain feel in areas that the tech couldn’t get out after trying three times with me there. I ordered this kit and followed the instructions and that shaft became slick as glass. That was over a month ago and still going. Great kit from McDermott!
