Super Cool in All the Right Ways
I wanted a reliable and fun AIO COU cooling solution for my new PC build. With a solid build and simple enough install, it’s performing exactly as needed. The only issue I faced was a slightly too short water lines. I got it installed only after a bit of worry I might kink the lines. But after a few layout tries I found the best alignment and position. It’s running great and the small LCD just look so cool. Worth the $.

Having plethora of issues
I was having cooling issues with my i9-11900kf and replaced my existing water cooler with this model. The installation couldn't be easier and it both looks nice and does its job great in cooling the cpu. However, the cooler is very loud and I can't find a way to fix this thru GCC which you have to use for fan control. One fan on unit appears to always operate at very high rpm regardless of the other fans operation. In GCC there are different fan settings, but it only seems to apply to just one of the two fans. For example in zero rpm mode or quiet mode, the one fan will be stopped while the other seems to operate at full rpm even on cpu idle with temp at 74-80 degrees farenheight. Oddly on several settings it shows fan RPM as zero, but the one fan is always on. Gigabyte support seems very lacking and difficult to get any feedback on. Haven't ran across anything on web detailing this same issue with fan. The LCD is better than I expected and is easy to read temp on. I really like the product except for the fan control. I use gigabyte z590 mother board and graphics card also so would like to keep just for consitency but the noise may get to me after a bit unless gigabyte can respond with a solution in a timely manner. Last time I posted an issue/question to gigabyte for mother board, it took them almost three weeks to respond thru their support center which by that time I had already resolved issue.update 11/23/2024I've been trying to work thru gigabyte support on this which has not been very helpful. So the problem was there was the 2nd fan in chain operating at full rpm always irregardless of settings in GCC and other fan. After a few days of back and forth with gigabyte who acknowledged that both fans should operate in sync, I decided to swap the fan positions in chain. So fan 2 became fan one and fan one became fan 2. This corrected the 2nd fan from spinning at full blast and the fans synced now and were operational as they should be thru gcc with a drastic reduction in noise.. However, after using for 11 hours, the LCD started going blank as if it loses power even thought the fans, pump, and rgb are still on. This is pertainent as all power for these are routed thru one power source off pump. This has turned into a regular occurance now with the LCD going off and on sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for a couple of minutes. Very random and intermitent. While I still had a question outstanding at gigabyte about replacing one of the fans, they already closed my ticket. I have opened another ticket to see what they will do and if I don't get a decent response back in 48 hours or so, will return this thru amazon. I think this could be a very good product but at this point I have doubts as to the quality and longevity of it. Reducing three to two stars.

Pictures and marketing do this cooler no justice!!
Where to start.... First, I now own all three generations of this cooler. The original Aorus 360 Liquid Cooler, Aorus Waterforce X 360, and now the X II 360. Aorus has continued to upgrade with all three generations. After looking at the marketing on Aorus' own website and reading the sales page here on Amazon, I was very hesitant on purchasing this cooler. It just did not look like much of an improvement. In fact, to me it seemed a bit of a step backwards to a cheaper looking cooler. Being that Amazon has such a generous return policy I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger anyway and order it. No regrets! Aorus has done it again and really made some great improvements to this cooler. The LCD screen has very much improved presets. Five in total that are much better than the previous generation. More options for the data that is displayed and better graphics. To me, this alone made the upgrade worth it. But it doesn't end there. The pump housing has changed. Whether or not it is better is going to be up to personal taste. At first I didn't like it, but it has grown on me. The fans are all new, featuring a magnetic lock together design. No more wires all over the place! The overall outer diameter of the hoses has been reduced which does make it a little more manageable. Aorus is claiming improved flow with these hoses and new pump design. I can't attest to the actual flow, but, the temperature of my I9-12900KS has dropped 20 degrees C during stress testing. Something has improved! To get all the benefits of this cooler, you do have to use Aorus' GCC (Gigabyte Control Center) software. This has also been finally updated to a decent version (24.03.25.01) that actually works pretty well.If you are on the fence as I was, just buy it. You will not regret it. There are other improvements as well that I didn't cover. Go to Aorus' website to get all the details.
