I like to keep some form of backup power as I use a cpap. I've had a big car charger battery pack for years now and it is finally dying so I started a search for a replacement that was hopefully smaller and could last more than the one night I was getting with the big battery pack. I found this unit and decided to give it a try as the reviews were pretty good. All I can say is "WOW"! The unit is much smaller than I was thinking it would be and lighter too. Pretty much looks like the little boom boxes we carried around in the 80's. I wasn't expecting much but figured if it went one night I would probably be fine as we usually don't lose power for longer than a few hours unless a hurricane is rolling through (or even just by). As hurricane Debby was on the way, I got this one as it could be delivered same day. It came with a 75% charge and only took a short time to hit 100%. Unit was packaged brilliantly and is made to be very portable. It came with so many connections but after a short look online I knew I was looking for the 12V-5A cord for my older System One cpap. We didn't actually lose power for more than a minute in three different times during Debby so I didn't actually have to rely on it but it would have been no problem if I had. This last whole week I have tested it at night. Filled it to 100%, unplugged the power and used it for five nights in a row! I have the Philips system one machine and my setting is 10. I turned off the humidifier as instructed for longevity and went to sleep each night as usual. I had the machine running almost 9 hours a night for five nights in a row and still had 20% battery life! It basically used 16% a night. I was completely shocked at how small the unit is versus how long it lasted. Frankly, it's incredible! I had no idea I could have had something this small when camping and gone that long. It seemed a little on the expensive side but I can't complain about performance. I also can't talk about how well the battery will maintain it's output but my initial impressions and testing were mind blowing. Very pleased so far!!

I've had severe sleep apnea for 25 years. Not just a little gentle hypopnea (short pauses in breathing), I'm talking episodes of over a minute, no air. So I've used CPAP gear, and it has relieved my breathing issues. But I spend a lot of time in a canyon, off the grid. About 15 years back, I bought a couple of batteries to power a Transend Mini CPAP, but they were really expensive, and usually only lasted one night, so I gave up on them. I tried using a small generator to power my regular CPAP machine, a Resmed AirSense 10, but the noise and exhaust disturbed others, so I quit - just went without. At a recent visit to my sleep doc, he just shook his head, asked me where he should send flowers. I asked if it was really that bad. He said I had one of the worst cased of apney he's seen, and without a CPAP, my finger-tip blood was down to about 68% oxygen saturation - brain blood was going to be a bit lower - if I kept it up, I'd be in a home within a few years, likely not recognizing my own kids. So I got serious, looked around at alternatives, and found that power-packs for CPAP machines have come a long way in the last 15 years. The best unit I found was this Bluetti X30 Power Bank. Yeah, it's made in China, but Bluetti has a decent rep, so I decided to try it. At our last visit to the canyon, I used it for three nights - 7 hours, 9 hours, and 7 hours, more than I usually sleep, especially over there. It still had 52% remaining. From what I've read, the level goes down a bit faster as you get towards the bottom, but I'd slept longer (and better) than I usually do over there, so I figure with normal use it's good for six nights, minimum. Maybe seven. During the modern-weapon deer season (11 days) I need to be there the entire time, so I'll need to recharge it once, but that only takes about four hours on the little inverter-generator, so I'm set. So what will it do? It comes with a AC/DC transformer to charge it, and five different cables to power various CPAP units. Actually, with the included adapters, you have about 8 or 9 different output configurations, at 12v, 15v, and 24v. At 24v it powers my primary (Resmed AirSense 10) CPAP machine, and at 15v it powers my little Transcend Mini. I'd likely get a lot more hours of use on the Mini, but I hate its nasal-pillow headgear, and I don't get recorded usage data for my doctor - so I haven't used it yet, just tested it to make sure it was compatible. I can't swear it will last forever. With the lithium ion NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) technology, they claim it can be recharged 2,000+ times. I hope that's true. But it's fairly light-weight (about four pounds, less than the two batteries I used to use). Using it, I've slept three nights in a cabin, and three nights lying on the ground for a dove-hunt, and it has worked flawlessly. I really love it. If, down the road, it gives me reason to rethink my evaluation, I'll come back and edit this review.

In 2018, I began BPAP therapy with a ResMed AirCurve 10 device. With an upcoming remote tent camping trip, I looked for a power bank that was portable, compact and lightweight. The Maxoak K5 fit the bill, giving me several nights of power before it required recharging in my vehicles 110-volt outlet. The Bluetti X30 is the next generation in what appears to be the same frame with several improvements over the K5. With a new Lithium battery system, the recharge cycles have increased from 1000 to 2000. It comes with a variety of power cables, all labeled for various compatible device. The LCD backlight turns off in a few seconds with only a very subtle blinking night light along its bottom edge. Start-up has also been simplified. Press the power button for a few seconds to turn on. Plug in the appropriate power cable and the X30 recognizes it and displays the related power on the LCD screen. Press the DC button to direct power to the cable and plug it into the device. Simple! At 95% battery usage, there is a continuous beeping, alerting it is time to recharge the power bank. In testing the X30, I get 4, six-hour nights with the heater/humidity turned off. Because my device double pressures are high (range 12 to 17) it impacts usage hours. A CPAP verses BPAP device, with a single lower pressure will improve usage hours. All in all, The Bluetti X30 is a great, compact, lightweight power bank. If I had any recommendations, the power cables could be much longer. It still requires 110 volts to recharge but if you are camping in a National Park without power access, any ranger station will recharge medical devices. The new travel case is a nice bonus.

Seems like a solid unit and works well. Charges easily, and it is easy to figure out which of the supplied power cords fit with your CPAP machine. The two biggest issues that I have are that it can only around one device at a time and that it actually weighs 4.2 pounds. End of the day, I have to take it with me regardless because I depend on my CPAP machine to treat my central sleep apnea. But when you’re backpacking, a few ounces can make all the difference in the world. To be over a pound off of the actual weight of the device is a big deal.

I use this for camping, so it probably gets used 4x a year. That being said, it probably has less than 20 charges on it. It no longer charges. 250.00 for that little of use, isn’t worth it. It is not durable.

I purchased this as a back up for my CPAP machine (resmed 10) we had a power outage in the middle of the night and I really need my CPAP therapy. Since I purchased this unit I have used it during other outages. It attaches to my machine so easy I was able to make the switch in the middle of the night with no problem. The battery lasted me 4 nights and my machine has a humidifier too! It’s so portable that I also used it in a hotel when we took a weekend trip. I’m very happy I purchased it.
