Lots of helpful material, good scripture references. Was a bit dry at first, but the latter chapters were better than the first few.

If you are bent towards being a critical person, this is a wonderful, practical read on the importance of encouragement and how to give it.

Not everyone can be a teacher or a preacher or an evangelist. But everybody can, and should be, and encourager. This book lays out the principles of encouragement in such a way that the reader is excited to be able to put in into practice. I am a preacher and have had great success in using this book in Bible Classes. I've taught it twice so far, and am getting ready to teach it again. I would encourage you to get this book and realize your encouragement potential. Be a Barnabas. Be an encourager!

This is a good book to purchase and read if you want to learn about courage and/or how to be more courageous. This is a good Christian book that a person can study individually or with a group. Most important this book will teach you how to live a more courageous life.
