Complete Overview! (Pros/Cons)
The media could not be loaded. I purchased not only the white polygel but also the markartt green polygel kit. The green nails I did were my very first ever set of polygel nails! Polygel is super beginner friendly and I highly suggest it. My second set I painted over with regular polish (red and sparkles). And my most recent set I did with the white polygel as well as the clear that came with my kit. I also decided to buy some gel polish and gold flakes. I have never done nails before and I gotta say that I think they turned out really well. The polygel was strong and lasted about 5-6 weeks.Pros:-Beautiful colors-super adaptable-beginner friendly-not overly time consuming-long lasting-light weightCons:-I recommend getting an electronic file to help the removal process. (Otherwise it takes ages)-dual forms get super sticky afterwards and are difficult to clean. (Soak in nail polish remover)-with mixing the pigmented polygel and the clear polygel you run the risk of your nails breaking easier. (Not practical; stick with one color and then adding design on top)Breakdown of each set:Set 1; Green polygel kitMy first ever set of polygel nails! I was so excited about this kit. However, I was super upset because I had paid for two day shipping and it took three weeks to arrive! Although the polygel took forever to arrive, the lamp I purchased on the same day from markartt only took one day to arrive. Altough the shipping was inconsistent everything arrived unscathed and I was super excited to do my first ever set. This set took me about 3-4 hours. I ended up taking a little dotting tool and regular dark green polish to decorate the nails. I gotta say that on my first set, my nails were super thick. To thin out the underside of my nails after curing I had to use an e-file. I was nervous to use and e-file because I’m not a professional and I gotta say after doing a few sets I am glad I have it.Set 2; Red & SparklyThe red sparkly set I did, I used the white polygel as the base. This set was super simple. It took maybe 3 hours including the red and sparkle polish on top. Super simple.Set 3; Clear/White Marble + GoldThis set was by far my most complicated one. I had an idea in my head to make clear and white marble nails. After finishing the set I realized that just the clear and white looked kinda funny and I wanted to do something dramatic with them. I went ahead and purchased some gold and rose gold flakes as well as a gel polish set. I used the markartt base polish as a type of glue for the gold flakes and it worked really well. And then I used the gold glittery gel polish for my accent nail. Although these nails were beautiful, they didn’t last as long as my first two sets. I think the combination of the clear polygel and the pigmented polygel mixed together made the nail loose structural stability. I think that using two different pigmented polygels would probably work better. The clear polygel is just a slightly thinner consistency. These nails took about 4 hours to do, but only lasted 3 weeks.

Perfect for beginners
I absolutely adore this brand's polygel. The product is easy to work with, not as sticky as other brands, and easy to spread and blend with the natural nail. I am still new to doing my own nails but this product gives me salon quality nails at home. The french press color is the perfect shade for french tips, I would highly recommend this product for beginners.

Lasts and lasts
I dislike how poly gel is smooth on top and rough underneath nail, and that it has to be filed off. That’s not exclusive to this brand, just all poly gels. This glittery one was pretty on and it definitely lasts.

Pretty good!
I typically use Gelish polygel but was tired of paying $40-$50 for a tube. This product is a little stickier but that almost makes it easier to use? It took some time to get used to it but if you’ve never used polygel - I think you’d like the stickiness. Sturdy. Cures well. My nails last 2-3 weeks without issue. I’ve had a couple pop off over the last 2 months but I can’t say if it was user error or not. Anyway!! If you’re new to polygel - get it.

Love this product
First time using hybrid gel and I ordered this brand in 2 different colors, one being clear. I can say it is completely clear and easy to work with. I like how it will not dry (cure) until you put it in the UV/LED lamp, so you can work on your finger for however long you need to perfect it. I’m a beginner and can say I’ve enjoyed learning how to apply hybrid gel, it works well with 70% isopropyl alcohol as a slip. Will repurchase more colors!

too sticky
it’s very clear so i’ll give it that, it’s just too sticky to be easy to work with and doesn’t hold its shape as much as i’d like, it’ll start to run if you don’t cure it fast enough

What's Happening To This Brand?? 😥
Okay. A year ago I began studying nails and heard hundreds of raving positive reviews about everything Makartt. I ordered their Parisian in Pink kit from Amazon, and it really impressed me. Specifically, the polygels were soft, easily spread and formed, but held shape nicely.. all of the colors were this way, even the white. In that kit I even found my favorite nail bed product of all time: Rosé polygel from Makartt. I to this day purchase 50 ml tubes plural at a time because it is that good!I came into extra money and needed to upgrade my nails for upcoming work, so I bought $100 of polygels from Makartt about 12 days ago. I bought a tube of White from this listing, 2 Rosé 50 ml tubes and several other colors of polygel from the app. Because I bought over a specific dollar threshold, I got free shipping. Well, the free shipping is a lovely gesture..I just think it needs some work. My order was split into 2 packages, no biggie I guess, but then the tracking was all wonky- though they were supposed to come from the same place, one had great tracking all the way through and arrived within a week. The other had big gaps in tracking updates and arrived 2 days later than the other package. I thought it had been lost or stolen, so I wrote to Makartt with my concerns and whoever wrote back just gave me the tracking info I had already and never addressed what I actually said 😒🫠I live in Florida. It's reallllyyyyy hot here and the mail box is down the street, in the sun. Polygels should only be kept in cool, dry places. It's important that I get polygel from the mail box asap and therefore tracking is key.Anyways. I got everything together and began opening the tubes. Rosé is perfect, as usual, but all the others are extremely hard and sticky. I put them in hot water like some suggest and it barely made a difference in the hardness. Beyond that, they were all still unbearably sticky! I used 2 different types of alcohol and then liquid monomer to try to get them to be workable. No dice. I gave up yesterday after I spilled my monomer on my hand and began developing an allergic reaction to it 😭🤦♀️I'm easily able to create gorgeous ombre jelly designs using Rosé and Rosalind (another brand) milky white polygel, and both of those blend easily with just rubbing alcohol, so I know that it's an inherent issue with the formula for Makartt's opaque and glitter polygel now.I wrote Makartt another email, explaining as politely as possible and requesting a refund or to have the monetary equivalent returned to me in gel polishes of my choice. I'm very upset because I need to look as pretty as possible for upcoming events, and due to the designs I need for my nails to match certain costumes/ aesthetics, I need to be able to create my own custom press ons at home. My time is running short and I've only been able to complete one set, but I need at least 5.I've learned a few things... I'll always pay for my shipping, and my orders from Makartt will be restricted to the excellent products only, per my standards:Their nail glue is the strongest I've ever tried, and a little goes a very long wayTheir glue debonderTheir top coatsRosé polygelPotentially their gel polishesI have to go back to sculpting my nail sets now, which is something I desperately wanted to avoid by using polygel 🙁 I hope to hear back from them soon. I filed a return this morning for the White polygel I purchased on this listing, and will put the return money towards other nail supplies instead.

Excellent produit
