Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen

This Martha Cookbook was on the wish list of one of my friends for Christmas so it made it very easy to buy for this year! Recipes are easy to follow, lots of classic & more sophisticated recipes. Laid out nice, easy to follow, great photos. There’s truly nothing not to love about this cookbook whether you are a beginner or advanced chef there’s something for everyone. The price makes this an unbeatable value especially considering it’s a hardcover cookbook. Highly recommended to anyone. Makes an excellent gift & doesn’t break the bank.

I absolutely love Martha Stewart. She is an icon for food and home decor that I always enjoyed watching while growing up. The book contains achievable recipes for the average cook and looks gorgeous!

I’ve already made two of the recipes and both were delicious (the brownies really are the best!) and I can’t wait to try the rest.

This is my first Martha Stewart cookbook. Leafing through it, there is such a variety of recipes that I don't think I'll need to seek out any of her other books. It's her 100th cookbook that contains (per the inside cover), "...an intimate collection of 100 treasured recipes and the memories and stories behind them." It's all here. Even her famous Green Juice recipe. None of the recipes look overly complex...seem pretty simple. The book contains only thick glossy pages. A colorful picture appears on the page adjacent to each recipe, with the exception of recipes for beef, chicken, turkey and vegetable homemade stocks. Happy cooking. Happy family.

Another fabulous cookbook from our favourite Domestic Goddess. Martha's books are hands down the best. This latest offering is superb. Full colour photos of the techniques and recipes throughout the book! This is very rare in publishing but much appreciated. Be prepared to be inspired to cook a beautiful dinner. Lots of simple to make standards such as potato pancakes.(Yum!) And Martha's baking recipes are must tries. If you can find pre-made puff pastry try the palmiers. For those brave enough Martha even shows how to make puff pastry from scratch!
