Oh yeah, these'll do brilliantly. While there are some much heavier ones available, unless one is cooking for bigger groups/volumes, than these are great for the 1-4 ppl kinds of volumes. These are a little thinner and lighter, but they're certainly very solid and sturdy. The sub-10$ range, these are perfect! ANYTHING to replace the plastic!!
