Yes, it is a lovely Chinese chess set. With its magnetic board and pieces, it is ideal for travel. The board also folds in two, with space to put the pieces inside, while the playing surface is outside. I also have to say that it arrived much sooner than the original estimated date!

I like the contrast between the pieces and the board. The overall finish is inconsistent with small blemishes In the board and pieces, but it’s to be expected at this price point. The magnets are not super strong, but that gives the pieces a solid feel on the board. I’d you payed in a car on a rough road I think the pieces would hold steady.

Very good Chinese chess set. Easy to transport and the quality is very good :)

Son wanted a different challenge and is really enjoying this board. Pieces are a ood size and the magnetic board makes sure pieces stay in place. Folds in half and pieces are easily stored inside case for easy travel.
