Best sink strainers I've ever bought! They fit tight against the sink so almost everything gets caught in the little basket.

Too big for bathroom sink drain
This product is described as being suitable for both kitchen and bathroom sinks. However, it is way too big to fit into a bathroom sink. It is for kitchen sinks only. Buyer beware!

Does NOT work as a bathroom sink strainer. I think they've updated the description since I bought it -- but it really would only work in *some* kitchen sinks. The product is about 4.5 inches in diameter. The "insert into the sink" part is about 2 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches deep -- it is quite large (not sure it would fit in all kitchen sinks, especially if you are in an older house/apartment) The product was cheap enough that I decided to keep it for a future kitchen sink I might need it in rather than return it. The quality also looks fine, though I can't confirm that since I haven't used it yet
