I bought the PYRJIN P21W White LED bulbs in February 2025 to use as reverse lights on my 2010 Peugeot 3008—and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. Before fitting these, the reverse lights were nearly useless. At night, I could barely see anything behind me through the mirrors, and the lights were hardly visible to others. Even worse during the day. Part of the problem is down to Peugeot’s poor tail light design on the 2010 3008. The tail/brake light has its own dedicated reflector section, which works fine. But the reverse and indicator bulbs are crammed into a separate shared compartment that uses a honeycomb-style reflector. Unlike traditional reflectors that focus light in one direction (typically straight back), this honeycomb diffuser scatters the light in all directions, drastically reducing how much of it actually shines behind the car—where it’s most needed when reversing. This design makes even a high-wattage halogen bulb seem weak, as most of the light is simply wasted bouncing around inside the tail light housing instead of projecting outward. It’s a classic case of form over function, where styling compromises visibility and safety. While originally searching for brighter halogen bulbs, I stumbled upon these by accident—and what caught my eye was the magnifying lens at the tip of the bulb. It acts like a zoom lens, focusing the light towards the back far better than the standard halogen bulb which is 360°. The result? A night and day difference! At night, I can actually see what's behind me when reversing, and the light output is intense—so much so that I had to squint slightly when standing behind the car with it in reverse (engine off). Daytime visibility is also a huge improvement over halogens. Note: They are very bright, so keep that in mind if you're concerned about glare or dazzling others in a built up city, but for reversing safely especially at night or day... these are a game changer. Final Verdict: Highly recommended if your reverse lights are weak. These transformed my reverse lights from decorative to functional, and they’re still going strong months later.

Still working after months of use. I drove tens of thousands of miles wit it. It is very bright though. So I am using it for the reverse lights.

I was concerned that so many of these replacement bulbs only worked in 1 mode, eg only functioned as a brake light. These are fully dual mode bulbs. I used them in an older motorcycle where they need to function as both a tail light and a brake light and they do just that! Very impressed with the difference in light output and definitely feel safer on the road with them installed. I see no flickering and both modes work as advertised. I only installled them today so cannot comment on how long they last. That said, I will definitely be installing them in my other motorcycle as well! Very happy!
