I love the look and feel of these neck knives. They are great for edc and conceal carry if need be. They come very sharp! cold steel does a great job on these blades. They also snap in tight in the included sheaths no worry of the knife falling out. I recommend them to anyone looking to have a full tang knife handy and in a hurry when needed.

Of all the Cold Steel Spikes, I think this is the most useful blade shape. Very utilitarian. It makes a great small game knife, but would also be a good work bench utility knife. Similar uses to the Mora, but with a much stronger and stiffer blade.

I must say, I'm so happy I purchased the cold steel spike!! It is absolutely an awesome neck knife. It came shaving sharp and package great as well. I own alot of knifes and this is by far the lightest one of my neck knifes. Cold Steel does an awesome job on all their knives that is why I own several. If you want a light knife and are on the fence about the Spike, get it I promise you will not regret it. I got mine and now I have to order my wife her own. Great job Lynn Thompson of cold steel

The swedge on the back is a false edge and does not cut so it is not double edged although it feels sharp.Pros:Very nice design, light and compact, full tang, comes very sharp, easy to re sharpen, very long chain, secure sheath, cheap, ambidexterous, finger grove makes for a secure grip, faux G10 grips make it easier to use with a wet or dirty hand, feels very comfortable.Cons:Tip bends easy, dulls faster, swedge on back may compromise blade strength, faux G10 grips are glued on and has small bumps along front and back strap.

The product was great! Thoroughly tested by delivery over a two day local delay. The package itself looked like it got run over several times. Knives and sheaths were completely unaffected from being crushed.

I was not paying enough attention and ordered this 'Tokyo' Spike version in error. Quite unusual 'second' edge - ? I liked it enough that I did order the Spike also. Very reasonable prices so I just added it to my collections. These could be excellent 'boot' knives but the 'scabbard' / cases are not set up for retention in any way. I like the feel for sure and the blades too - and both are plenty sharp enough to shave hair from my legs while 'testing' them. For now, I'll leave the handles as they are - but they are quite different than anything I've ever had - seem to be well thought out, if unusual.

Great back up knife or boot knife. Extremely sharp even the spine is sharp. It’s small and thin but absolutely ready to do work. Perfect fit for a good EDC setup

This is the second Spike knife I've purchased. The first one I got was the tanto version. I love them both. They arrive very sharp. When the edge dulls, it's not too difficult to sharpen back up. Despite being light-weight, they're very sturdy. The thickness of the blade is impressive. If I lost one, I would replace it.
