Amazing machine but
What an amazing machine easy to use and delivery was very good. Well happy have used it about 3 timesOne of the tension springs have broken? Trying to order a new one seems impossible.Crying

Seems good quality and good results for the price, but not Briggs Stratton engine as advertised
Arrived outwith the 5 day delivery window given, which was irritating, as I had stayed in every day to take delivery (it arrives on a pallet, so not as if you can expect it to be left on your doorstep or with a neighbour), with no contact from seller to either explain or apologise. Took 2 grown men to eventually get it off the pallet, and required power tools and a lot of lifting/swearing. It is effectively “buried” in the pallet; you aren’t just driving it off the pallet. Instruction manual is in good English, but not exactly hugely clear. Once figured out after some experimentation, however, it did a fine job. Initially was concerned as it was SO bloody fast, but then we figured out that there are 2 throttles in effect. One is down by your shin that runs from 1 (slow or cutting speed) to 6 (Vin Diesel speed), and then a hand throttle up by the steering wheel to fine adjust. The picture implies the engine is a Briggs Stratton engine; it isn’t, which is technically miss-selling and against the Trade Descriptions Act, but given the price I am not about to complain too much. Build quality appears good at first inspection and use. Turning circle markedly better than our 30 year old Countax. Grass collection bin on the small side, but we were pleasantly surprised by the deflector that actually cut the grass well but left very little obvious clippings. We used to have to rake and collect after using the Countax (collection bin old and worn out), but no need to do any raking or collecting after an initial cut (a good 2 weeks overdue) with the Lawn King. Seems very good value so far. Will update if needed.So, a star off for the sub-stellar delivery info and the wrong engine being advertised, but otherwise quite pleased.
