Lawn-king 60RD 60cm/24in Cut Ride on Lawnmower

lovely little machine , very nimble with a tight turning circle.The quality of cut is quite good and the grass collection excellent.One minor niggle is that the cuttings discharge is done by lifting up the basket which deposits the cuttings on the floor , not good if you have to bag them up.Overall very pleased and would recommend it for an area of less than 1 acre.

This looked really nice when we bought it and initially cut the grass pretty well; however I'm afraid that after a few months last summer it broke down and now again on the first cut after the winter has also broken down. Our lawn mower repair man says he would never recommend this model - the next one up is much better. He has suggested we use only Premium petrol to try to help the engine work better and clog up less. Also the battery has been replaced (apparently it is too small for this size of mower) and the starter motor has also needed work on it. Let's hope that it now works better - but the point is that you get what you pay for... sorry!

Unless you set for fastest speed, it just keeps stalling - even on the highest grass setting. Wished I had spent a little more on a more powerful machine. It has a Briggs and Stratton engine - not the best.
