Corby Executive Trouser Press

Item arrived as promised, and it works perfectly. This was purchased to replace my very old (25 year plus) Corby. A comment is that the vertical press now is at a slight angle, so it takes up a bit more room than the old design it replaces.

Can not assemble as no screws etc received

Very diasppointed ith the product I have had corby trouser presses for years and been very happy with them, the last on I had for ten years until it finally wore out, the new one is not nearly as good as the old one, only 3 sttings and not dial setting to time of choice, does not look great very cheap looking, leans foward for some unknow reason rather than being upright, I wish i could have bought another one of the old version, corby you should be looking at improving your products not going bacwards with what looks like a cheap chinese imatation

This arrives in a flat pack box which contains plastic feet, a wall mounting bracket and a coat hanger. I've set mine up to be free standing, so used the feet. The holes weren't milled quite large enough for the screws to slip through to aid alignment, and you'll need to a apply a bit of pressure to screw the feet securely in place. The coat hanger was easier to fit and overall this isn't a difficult product to assemble.Overall the finish is good with a high gloss front panel and chrome metal levers and retractable tie rack. The timings are selected by simple button presses and after the timer counts down you'll find your trousers are perfectly pressed (so long as you align your creases properly to avoid tramlines) and there's not a hint of shine. I like to use the press warm up my trousers a little when it's cold outside.

When assembled, which was difficult enough, the angle of lean is crazy. It takes up far too much space. My previous two presses have been vertical and that works very well. I wasted money buying the Executive model thinking it would be better. Wrong. Save money and buy the cheaper models

Corby Trouser press arrived today. However, the incorrect screws for assembly were included. Amazon could not help, as they do not package items. I have tried phoning Corby Windsor, but phone just rings out. I cannot find an email address for them. What do I do next?

There's a lot going for this trouser press. It looks great, and does a terrific job, like its predecessors.However, it slopes rather than being upright/vertical. And this makes it slightly unbalanced. Added to the unclear assembly instructions, it was rather painful to put together.I got there in the end, but it could have been easier and clearer.In the end, it is a great product.

I just love my corby.Ma old one lastet over 20 years,but the foam lining started to disintegrate and I had to have anew one.I cannot be without it.
