Yes this safe in easy to get into for an adult but I wont have to worry about my 5 year old son braking into it or even finding it any time soon!Thats why I gave it only 4 stars.

Great locking case. Perfect size for 1911

Claims to fit a govt. model 1911 are accurate...BARELY. Muzzle and butt will touch the sides. Will NOT fit a .38 revolver with a 4" barrel! The next size up has a combo, rather than a key lock.It is well made, the cable works. I wish the thing were 1/4 inch bigger.

Awesome!Very solid case. Fits two compact semi-autos. Great to keep in the vehicle, just in case.

This product does what it says. Realize it is NANO (small) sized and would only accommodate my Glock 17 and an extra round.Pros: Small, key-locked, suitable for checked in luggage on planeCons: Small, key-locked (don't lose it), chain lock basically uselessSo a good backup, not for primary lockup.

My wife and I daily carry, and we needed something in the truck for those times that we're headed into a place where we can't carry (Post Office, Bar, etc). I looked at mounting a case with a Simplex lock under the seat, but they were all too tall for the space. I worried that something like the Nanovault wouldn't be "enough", but it's perfect.We both carry pocket 9's, and with the 1911 sized Nanovault, both firearms fit in the same box "head to toe", side-by-side.This was the perfect solution for us. It's quick to get into while still in the vehicle (doesn't attract attention from "hey, what are they doing there?"), both firearms fit into the same box, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.A couple of folks here had mentioned that the cabled hadn't been crimped properly on their box. There was no problem with ours.Happy Camper!

Lasted less than a week. Lock broke 3rd time i opened it... It's worth the money which isn't much to begin with.gotta be some better stuff.
