Great little kit for camping, made really well and takes up very little space when camping. perfect for backpacking.

Yes this was quite the improvement in the locking mechanism when using the utensils in the open position. What happened before was that the spoon seemed to lock if you were a right hander but the fork only locked if you were a right hander. It wasn't really a lock but according to which hand you used based on the pressure applied. I always complained about that but in this version this seems to have been thoroughly dealt with, however it does not come with the knife, just the a deeper and slightly larger spoon and the fork. I give this version full 5 stars.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it! It's neat because it folds up nicely but it's also magnetic, so it easily comes apart to use as a fork and a spoon, but also holds together securely. Definitely worth the money, easy to use, and compact. Very functional. I really liked it as well so I'll be purchasing another one!

I used these on a camping trip this past weekend. I like that they fold and appreciate the built-in magnet to keep them together. 4 stars instead of 5 only because they are relatively "heavy" (93.38 grams) and I value minimizing weight where possible in my pack. They're well made and super sturdy.. My only other nitpick gripe is that food collects around the rotating hinge, which makes cleaning them a little tedious. Overall, excellent build quality and compact size... just a little too heavy for my preference.

Stays together when not using, stays open when in use.

It’s definitely not a (ultra light ) option but it’s superbly finished and amazing quality especially for the price! It has the feel of a well made pocket knife.
