Let's Read the Gospels: A Guided Journal

The absolute perfect gift for someone new to the faith or a seasoned Christian needing to get back into the word and truly study and connect to the gospels!! I bought this to use as a bible study with my dad and I and he’s a catholic while I am a nondenominational and we’ve both been enjoying it greatly!

Not only does this have a beautiful canvas cover, every page has the scripture references for each day and several pages of thought provoking questions about what you’re reading each day. If you don’t want to follow that exact reading order, there are several ways you can decide to read through the Gospels listed in the book. I especially love that there’s plenty of lines and a date column so you can take notes each time you read through the Gospels and see how God is speaking to you differently each go around. Pairing this with Annie reading the Gospels to you on her Let’s Read the Gospels podcast is a nice treat as well!

Great for a group Bible study!

This guided journal is so beautiful and well-done. I didn’t know what to expect but decided to try it out because it was only $11.49 (on sale right now!!) and I want to spend more time in the gospels. This journal provides many different reading plans and then 5 questions per day, with so much space, so you can return to this plan over and over and add more as you learn more. My favorite part is that there is room for the date on every line of each page (example in picture), instead of just the top of the page, so you have room to keep coming back over the months or years. It also surprised me by being hardcover, so it feels even more beautiful !

I love the layout of this journal. It goes through the Gospels and has multiple questions for each daily reading. I love that it's flexible, so I don't necessarily need to complete the whole day of reading before answering some of the questions. There's plenty of room to write, and there's also a column for the date, so I can answer these same questions when I read through the Gospels in the future and see how my answers have changed. Beautiful tool to read the Gospels. Breaks it down nicely to 3 chapters a day and does not feel overwhelming.

Having a new baby means my spiritual life has taken a real hit. This is a simple, thought provoking way of moving through scripture. The questions make you think and the journal has ample space to write my thoughts!

This is such a gorgeous product I didn’t want to start writing in it. But also the whole point is to write in it, so here we go! It can be used on its own or in connection with the Let’s Read the Gospels podcast. It’s got several journal prompts based on each days readings and plenty of space to write. You could conceivably repeat the plan and have space to journal a second time through, depending on how large and long you write. Great reflection questions before you start, too. This would make an awesome gift for any Christian, whether they’re brand new to reading the Bible or have been reading it for years.
