Tarot of the Renaissance

This tarot deck shuffles nicely. Feels great in the hand. I would recommend to anyone. However, if the deck does not resonate with you; look else where. It would still be a good collectable item!

I bought these cards with a view toward writing stories to go with each one--something like the Decameron or Canterbury Tales--and I've found the artwork to be inspiring.

So, I did not buy these cards from Amazon, but this is actually the first deck of Tarot I ever got many a year ago and I agree with the top commenter: This is not an easy first deck. One must know that some of the card meanings have changed form a traditional deck such as the 4 of Wands. This one is usually (for me) a card of being slightly lost (the image of an explorer on a beach looking down and scratching his head at an arrow of Wands that point inland with a set of cliffs in the distance behind him. The water colors are soft and for the exception of the explorer, cold colors) But, oh goodness, each of these cards is a separate piece of art! The water colors are soft and lend the mind to FEEL for the meaning od the cards and with no hard lines, one can find distinction or blending among ideas and symbols. My personal favorite for this is actually the Ace of Cups which, I swear to the Gods, has a different set of details in it every time I look. One day I see mermaids in the handle, another I see the necks of two swans, sometimes I skip the cup altogether and just see the distant castle.I find that as an empathetic reader this deck helped me attune myself to the energies of divination and as I bonded with my cards, and they with me, our energies have found a happy mixture and communicative state. My readings are full of details and emotions and are rarely off, and I know I would not have half the developed skill I have now without these cards to guide me. Reading other decks after this deck is occasionally easier, but none are ever as rewarding to work with as this deck of beauty and challenges.Do yourself a favor: Challenge yourself and buy this deck. Learn how the energies of the universe around you fold and tumble and develop a part of you you may not have known was even there.

This wonderfully artistic deck was indeed my first deck, for the beauty of the artwork called me. Was it an easy first deck? Probably not, but because I so loved the artwork in it, I stuck with it and learned. Each and every time I read these exquisitely graceful cards there were new messages and depths to explore. So even if you have been warned about not not getting such a complicated deck to start with, if they call to you, get them anyway. "They" aren't always right!

Dieses Kartendeck weicht ein bisschen vom üblichen RWS Tarot an, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist, weil ich gerne neue Interpretationen mache. Mein Sichtfeld wird dadurch zu jeder einzelnen Karte erweitert. Ich liebe diese Karten. ❤️

Son algo mas planas de lo que tenia en mente; pero esto es para gustos. Por el resto calidad estándar de la marca.

Beautiful deck, very nice illustrations and good quality cards. Feels a little more special than the usual Rider Waite deck.

初めて購入したタロットですが、絵は概ね基本に準じていて分かり易かったです。説明書は英語、イタリア語、フランス語、ドイツ語、スペイン語だったと思います。一つ気になるのが、女帝が少しむすっとしているところでしょうか。パッと見、女教皇だと勘違してしまうかもです。とはいえ、どのカードも明暗や色彩が美しく、タッチもラフな感じが優しいです。小アルカナも、お気に入りのカードがいくつも見つかるくらい、丁寧に描かれています。カードの紙質もしっかりしていて、滑りもいいです。凄くお勧めできるカードです！

とても可愛いカードですので、もっぱら恋愛相談用です。とはいえ、柔らかいタッチの割には、人物達が力強く色彩とは裏腹にはっきりとした、性質を持ったカードです。小アルカナも絵札で、とてもストーリー性のあるカードです。
