Love the lights bought 2 work great only ones I found that work for my tank love that they are customizable and the 24/7 mode is great 5 stars!

Until then, I thought I'd test it out on the 1989 Tiananmen Square tank. It is way too much light for that tank, but even so, it made the colors pop. Mr Tankman and Jimmy Lai the snail all came out to show off their pretty colors. Jimmy came out right away and started checking out the light.This has all the features you could want in a light. The 24 hour cycle is really nice so that your tank gets a more natural light cycle which can help reduce algae.Setting up the timer and modes is tricky, so make sure to read the instructions before you start messing with it.The light can be positioned just about any way you like. You attach it to the upright from either the end or the length of the light. Then position the bracket anywhere along the glass There are three screws to make sure it stays securely in place. There should be enough room to fit the bracket over a tank with a narrow decorative rim. But, ideally this will work best with a rimless tank.

The media could not be loaded.  This SEAOURA aquarium light has soooo many lighting features... It is the best aquarium light I have had. I'm impressed with the customization of lighting colors, brightness and timer settings. The assembly was very easy and installation onto our tank was even easier. The tank mounting bracket secures to the tank with three fairly large solid plastic screws. Then you adjust the height of the light from the tank by two more screws on the opposite side of the bracket. The bracket is configured to allow the light to be mounted to the long side or short side of the tank. Because the light offers plenty of customizations, it will require a little reading and playing with the controller (built into the power cord) until you get the settings you like. The quality of the LED light is high in my book. With its aluminum housing that helps to dissipate any heat from the lights to the heavy-duty bracket for mounting to the tank, it is very solidly built and will probably outlast our tank.

I have this RGB light on top of my 5 gallon vertical Marineland tank with a beta and six neon tetras along with camboba and java moss, and added pothos to help remove unwanted nitrites and nitrates and this light was absolutely perfect for all of my plants and really brings out the color of the fish beautifully! The brightness is excellent for a 5 gallon vertical tank, and was easy to install, but best of all it was sized and scaled appropriately to the tank and I was really happiest about the promotion of plant growth. I would definitely recommend this to someone with a small 5 gallon tank, but think it would be too small for a 10 gallon or wider tank

Pros:I love that you can clip the light on at different angles or lay it flat.For once the clip fits the frame of my tank.It has nice lighting.Cons:The stand goes into the tank if you lower the height. Slides in. I prefer goose neck lamps.The timer, while it has great options, does not work the way it said. I tried the 24/7 option. It would not adjust to one of the 3 choices listed. I tried several times and had someone else follow the instructions to see if it was me. No luck.I left it where it wanted to be but it did not cycle through the sunrise and sunset. It just stayed on.It has another timer option but without the sunrise and sunset mode. At least I can use that timer.The light itself, I like. I want to give it 4 stars but for the timer and that if you lower the arm, it dips into to the water. 3.5 if that was an option.So I ended up bolting this to a stand and using it for a terrarium instead. This tank had a cover so I had to use the stand.
