I tried one in Florida first then bought here on my return, it's great fun and sounds just like the Carribean. I have since ordered a second music book to progress further with my learning

Sounds great, but very poor quality parts- the hooks that hold the pan to the frame are plastic- broke after 3 days rendering the whole thing useless and unplayable.Regret buying it!

Great starter steel drum.
This steel drum has a great tone quality. And, it is really cute. It seems to be of good build quality so far. The only thing I think they could improve on is nicer drum mallets. It is well worth the price. Great for beginners and it is easy to transport.

I always wanted a steel drum so I picked this one and I am very pleased. Sturdy and easy to use with beautiful sound. I like having the notes outlined and the whole family can play.

Excellent service
I ordered the Jumbie Jam from Rhythms of Pierian Springs and received it within a couple of days even though I ordered it standard shipping, but shipping was upgraded by the seller, so very fast! The Jumbie Pan is a great starter pan. It has an amazing sound. I play a standard pan and the quality of this small pan is the best I've heard. I got it for a friend's daughter and she loves it. I would definitely order from Rhythms of Pierian Springs again as they are very dependable and knowledgeable about these drums.

super fun. not a quality drum, but what do you expect for the price? go check out price tags on a real one. this is great, i play with it so the time. my wife loves it. the kids love it. it's in tune. good nuf for a top notch toy
