Wow, what a cool and easy to use device! I bought it because I am concerned because we live in the approach corridor of a major airport and I wanted to know how the incessantly flying airplanes affect the air quality. The device works right out of the box. Switch it on and it give you a number for the microparticles (PM2.5) and the air quality (AQI) pluis temperature and humidity. The two settings you can chose are F or C and how often you want it to make a measurement where you can go from real time (always) to every 30 minutes which obviously saves battery life and also the lifetime of the device itself, because these work with a laser that wears out after three four years. You can charge it with a standard USB C cable that is included, I have it running now for a week and the battery still shows five bars, even if I have it on measuring every five minutes. The best thing is that it is so small you can bring it everywhere and that's what I will do because I am also concerned about the air quality in hotels. And the second best thing is that it costs less than half of the fancy devices that you uselessly can connect to your Alexa. And by the way, our air quality is pristine, the PSM are in the single digits and the AQI rarely is ofer 15. I am relieved.

This air quality monitor is accurate, easy to read, and very helpful for understanding indoor conditions. It responds quickly to changes in the environment and gives clear, reliable readings for everyday use. The build quality feels solid, and the interface is straightforward. A great tool for keeping track of air quality at home.

I was told by my pulmonologist to buy some hepa air purifiers for my allergies and asthma. While researching those I came across a review where the commenter mentioned she bought an AQI to test if the air purifier works well. Now I never heard of something like this existing - I thought you would have to hire a specialist to come out and test for things like this with expensive professional equipment. If I had known about an AQI before I would have bought one ages ago. I've seen a lot of criticism about the battery life, but there are actually 4 settings. When I first got the device I put it on the R setting (test every 2 seconds) and walked around each room of my apartment to see what the air quality actually is. This setting uses the most battery power and I don't like it because the numbers swing wildly and it's confusing. I tested out other settings as well and decided to keep it at A. While on A the AQI remains fairly stable. I recieved my device almost a week ago and the battery is at the halfway point. How do I know this device is accurate? The AQI remains mostly in the single digits, but when I light a cigarette the device can go as high as 80. I was shocked, I had no idea it was that bad. This gives me something to think about...... One last thing - my car A.C. is running cool not cold like it should. I already took it back to the mechanic twice after paying 2k for a total rehaul. The mechanic insisted, on my 3rd visit, they tested the temp of air coming out of vents at 48 degrees. I knew this wasn't right at all because I'm sweating like crazy. One day I had to run errands in diff parts of town. I bright this monitor and put it on the console tray which is right above knee level. The kickstand included was so helpful! I drove to 4 places in 3 hours, about 60 miles altogether. After each stop i took a photo of the reading (please note AQI is higher in 2nd photo because I smoked with the window cracked). The interior temp of my car never went below 90 (live in Arizona) and I plan to take my evidence back to The mechanic to prove they didn't do it right the first 3 times. I have mixed feeling towards this air quality monitor. The shipping was fast packaging was good, item is as described it is really easy to set up and has a cool handy magnetic stand that attaches to the unit, it's extremely portable small and convenient being wireless and recahargable so you can really take it anywhere with you, car rv or even glamping or on vacation in hotels or Airbnb's so thats definitely helpful. So the part im unsure sbout, its accuracy. The temperature seems to be accurate according to my other temperature reading devices so that im confident is correct. But I'm not too sure about the air quality monitoring accuracy. We recently lost our home due a FV situation and some not so professional landlords and are in middle of a lawsuit acually so I won't go into that. But temporarily we are having to stay with a friend of a friend's, only option we had other than our car for the moment so I'm not complaining and am thankful for his kindness to let us stay here. I got this air quality monitor because the roommate has 4 cats and he used to smoke cigarettes inside the house, he stopped smoking inside when my son and I came here after I asked him to please smoke outside. But it still smells like smoke, and even after I've scrubbed the walls and ceiling, theres just a lingering stale smoke smell i cant stand. My son and I are both allergic to cats. I do have a really good high end brand Hepa filter air purifier that I have in our bedroom and I have the best filter specifically for smoke and odor and household allergins, and so far our room has no obvious smells of cat or smoke. The air monitor shows good levels in our bedroom. But I wanted to just see what the air monitor showed when placed in the nasty living room area and thats where my concern comes in because it didnt read any different than what our room with our air purifier shows. That just doesn't seem possible to me when it's a very obvious difference just with my nose, in just breathing the air and smelling the two different rooms theres a massive difference. So I'm unsure if perhaps this monitor just isn't for what I'm hoping it can detect or if it's not really reading the air quality. I have decided to return it and try finding something more specific for what I'm needing. So idk, mixed feelings because it could be correct if it's not specific for what I'm needing it to read, smoke and cat dander pollen and dust particles.

Does what it says.... Checks air quality and relative humidity with accuracy. Simple to charge with a standard USB supply. Battery life depends on how many times the unit samples. You get four settings and can get over a month on a single charge with the lowest sample setting. Good quality product and for anyone worried about mould and high humidity levels in their room, you can now check at a glance.

Simple, small and useful. The batter last a lot. Being USB-C makes ir very convenient to me.

It does seem to provide pretty accurate PM2.5 and air quality readings. At least, these jibed with the one-word weather descriptions of Accuweather, a weather forecasting service. But will still need to try it out more to ascertain if it’s really accurate over a spectrum of air quality conditions. As of the first series of readings though, it did well.
