It works, use a spray bottle to mist the seeds often to keep them moist. I didn't keep my in all day sun. 4 hours of direct sunlight and 6 hours of indirect sunlight. Multiple colours but I'm most excited for the yellow. Ensure the soil is healthy and well draining. Keep it moist!!! I forgot to keep a better track of the germination period but be patient it can start anywhere from 7 to 14 days. It starts very very slow they will remain small for about 2 weeks. The ones in the picture were planted in July 2025 and it's now August 19, 2025... Keep.. them... Moist!!! Cannot stress that enough. If you can mist them 3 times a day

Unfortunately these did not sprout for me. Very small quantities of seeds were in the envelope. I got fully sprouted seeds from the 99 cent box of seeds I recently bought.

Great value! I sowed just a few seeds from the packet, and am thrilled with the beautiful, quick & quality results. I LOVE portulacas, and I highly recommend these beauties.

Pretty and delicate blooms. About 50 percent germination.

I was super excited about these, did a lot of research, and followed all the instructions. Unfortunately, not a single bloom.

There were so many seeds and they grew fast and are already thick and plentiful. I filled 2 decent size flower boxes and they are looking beautiful. I still have plenty left too. Ordering more.

Only a few germinated. I planted 1/2 a pack of seeds in a flowerpot and only about 15 plants germinated from those. I planted the other 1/2 pack plus an additional pack of seeds in the ground and they never germinated at all. I kept the soil moist as the directions instructed.
